Executive Summary
This report is focused on CC Music which is a music agency that will be opened by Chris and
Clive who were formerly musicians as well as music technology teachers. They are the sole
owners of the company and they have found that technology has an important role to play for
management of the business processes. Hence, this report demonstrates on the present situation
of CC Music with the help of “AS-IS” business process model and depending upon that a
proposed business model has been presented in the “TO-BE” business process model. A strategic
analysis has been done for CC Music with the help of SWOT to demonstrate feasibility of the
business. The proposed business process model suggest that there is a requirement to implement
Enterprise Resource Management software to carry out the business processes in a successful
manner. The comparison of various open source ERP software has been also presented in this
report along with the features and suitability in context to CC Music. Further a separate report
section has been included in this paper to illustrate upon the current situation of CC Music.

2. Strategic analysis for CC Music
In order to measure the success of CC Music company different strategic internal and
external analysis are required to be done. For understanding the internal operational and
functional environment of the company, a SWOT analysis is done for the company (Van Der
Aalst, La Rosa and Santoro 2016). It has been found that, the resultant of SWOT analysis will be
able identify the strengths and weaknesses of CC Music Company and according to the strength

1. Introduction
In order to gain competitive advantages and measurable success from the market it is
necessary for CC Music Company to implement necessary changes in their infrastructure.
Followed by the crucial changes implementation should be done by the business organization.
The roadmap developed by CC Music Company will provide a graphical presentation that will
show all the necessary changes that has to be implemented in the business environment. It can be
said that these will bring strategic changes in their company. Apart from this, the business
roadmap will also outline the referred changes those will help to incorporate changes in the
business organization (Harmon 2015). In order to improve the existing business strategies an
improved version of proper ICT environment is expected to be incorporated to the CC Music
Company.
In order to implement the changes proper software is required to be selected by the

In this current business era, every business is looking towards harmonies as well as
streamlining their business operations and functionalities. The focus is on adopting Open source
ERP software and the associated software. However, I felt that the nightmare stories flourish the
complexities and expenses for this kind of installation. I have learned that open source software
allows the users to tweak and also customize all the underlying source codes. I have also learned
that in order to round out the functionalities of ERP open source software there are many options
to host total system in cloud. I learned that it also helps to both pick and select the cloud based
modules for expansion. I have gained idea on the nature of open source ERP software that is
relies on the contribution and activities in the development activity. There are certain ERP-
worthy platforms that provide modules to the enterprises in terms of standard, accounting,
finance purchase, inventory etc. From the learning I think that Dolibarr ERP is the effective
system. CC Music Company uses manual system for managing large set of information which
leads the company towards operational and functional failures. In order to resolve these failures
it is necessary for the company to adopt the most suitable pen source ERP software. After
comparing the entire open source ERP software I have realized that, for this company Dolibarr
ERP is the most suitable one. I have also compared each and individual features and technical
characteristics of the open source software before recommending it for the company.
