Introduction
Teaching in the clinical environment is a crucial practice. In health care environment,
there is requirement to follow ethical, legal and cultural factors with an aim to handle different
situation in the best possible way. The report will cover an appropriate reflection model to
describe the entire situation significantly.
Description: It is the first step of the respective model wherein one is required to
describe the entire situation in detail. Here, it is require to determine what has happened, what
did you do in the situation. In the current scenario, I attend a critical patient with other nursing
students (Markkanen and et. al., 2020). In the situation, I maintained proper interaction with
other students as we were working as a team to provide the best possible cure to the patient.
Feelings: At this stage, one needs to describe their feelings during the situation. It is
about expressing the feelings, emotions during the situation. I used to feel nervous while dealing
with seriousmedical situation. Here, I used to follow the necessary protocols while treating the
patient. It made me nervous and anxious.
Evaluation: At this stage, it is imperative to encourage the person to evaluated own
performance throughout the situation. Here, it is imperative to analyze what worked well and
what did not so well. (Denton, 2021). While handing the patient, I put all my knowledge and
experience. Further, I also took help of my team members in terms of dealing with the situation
appropriately.
Conclusion: After evaluation, the next step is conclusion. Here, one is required to draw
the conclusion with the help of team members. In this situation, the individual needs to think
about the situation again & again so that the necessary conclusion can be drawn (Tesh and
Kautz, 2017). I made certain of mistakes during the situation. This was because my nerveousness
and hesitation. Here, I learned from my mistakes so that I will not repeat the same mistakes in
the future period of time.
Action plan: It is the final step of the respective model. If any serious situation will
occur in future, I will improve my skills and potential so that I can handle the cortical patients
effectively in the future period of time.

From the above-mentioned information , it is analyzed that the teacher is required to
handle the nursing students so that they can perform the assigned work in an appropriate way. In
the above-report, I have been implemented a model called gibbs reflection model to handle the
situation effectively in the future period of time.
