INTRODUCTION
Community is a social unit in which people who share common religion, values, customers
etc. live. In order to live within a community, it is important for individuals to focus upon their
personal development in order to develop effective self- management skills, interpersonal and
communication skills (Erceg,, Galić,. and Ružojčić, , 2020). Personal development helps an
individual to live a high- quality community life with better values. Personal development
reflection plays a vital role in building a successful career for an individual as reflecting upon
one’s own development helps an individual to learn from one’s own experience. It further helps
an individual identifying skills that are required to developed or improved within them. This
assessment will lay emphasis upon demonstrating understanding of purpose and nature of
reflective practice with the help of theoretical models of reflection, reflection on personal
experience, and reflection on relationship between experience and theories.

Nature and purpose of reflective practice with one model
A reflection is a self assessment of the student which enables in identifying experience. it has
been analyzed that the purpose of reflective practice is it allows student to understand his
experience. Moreover it is found that there are many benefits off reflective practice. It enables
student to become more aware about learning during and project. The nature of reflective
practices reflection which is return regarding one experience. Furthermore the main purpose of
reflective practice is it allows student in self awareness and developing a better understanding of
on experience. however it is found that there are various models of reflection that can be applied
by student. the use of theories depends on student willingness. besides that each theory varies
from one another as it contain various stages and is having their own concept of writing
reflective practice. The Gibbs reflective cycle was developed by Graham Gibbs in 1988 (Liu,
and et.al., 2020). it allows people to think in systematic way about the experience they had
during a particular event. by using the gifts reflection model the experience can be describe in
systematic way. it also helps in finding out what went well and what went wrong. Thus there are
five stages in this cycle which is described that below
Description- it is the first stage in which. A person describes the situation in detail. it helps in
explaining what happened, where when who was involved etc about the event. Thus, there is is
brief details given about entire event or activity which has been done.

experience. in this it is discussed about what individual felt before situation during situation and
after the situation. besides it also helps to express feelings about what other people think about
the situation.
Evaluation- It is a stage in which an individual evaluate that what went well what was not. also it
is evaluated that what was the reason that things didn't go well. Moreover, what other people
contributed in the situation and whether it was positive or negative (Manthiram, 2020).
Conclusion -here it is analyzed about the situation and from it conclusions are drawn about what
happened. here it is explain that what was positive experience for individual an if same situation
occurs then what will be done differently at that time. Furthermore it is concluded that what
skills need to be developed to handle situation an effective way.
Action- it is last stage in which different actions are included in it in order to deal with same
situation in future. Also a plan is made that how these changes will be attained or made along
with reviewing of progress. also the areas are identified where improvement is needed and skills
to be developed.
Reflection on personal experience of Amazon and what is learned during it
Here I was given a task to analyze the case study on Amazon and writer management report
about it. So I learn various things by preparing that report. First is I got to know about the
company and what are its products and services who founded it where the company is operating
etc. besides that I learned about operation management and how it helps in carrying out various
operations of company and attaining goals and objectives (Saidaminov, and et.al., 2020). I also
learned about what are various operations of Amazon. In addition I got to know about the
stakeholders and motivational theories. I found that there are various stakeholders of Amazon
such as government customers suppliers etc and they all play crucial role in operational
management. the company needs to identify the needs of stakeholders so that accordingly
operations are carried out. I learned that Amazon is a large E Commerce company and there are
various stakeholders of it.
Furthermore I gain knowledge about various motivational theories that is applied by company.
The use of theories depends upon needs of employees. So in Amazon maslow and herzberg
theories are used. In maslow’s theory there are five needs of an individual (Shao, and et.al.,,
2020). The first are psychological needs that is food air water etc. the second is safety needs that

needs which motivate individual.
Moreover I learned that Herzberg two factor theory is used by Amazon to motivate employees in
this there are two categories first is hygiene and second is motivational. In hedging there are
various factors such as pay company policies physical working condition fringe benefits etc and
in motivational the factors are recognition growth promotion etc. so I gain knowledge about
these two theories which is followed in Amazon (Wang, and et.al.,, 2020).
Also I learned that it is necessary to solve problems which occur within organization.
therefore it is necessary to solve these problems so that operational efficiency is maintained. does
it requires creative problem solving skills and tools to analyze the issue and solve it. I gained
knowledge about various problem solving tools such as fishbone diagram and thinking hats. I
learned that fishbone diagram is an cause and effect diagram which helps manager to find out
reasons for variations or defects in operational process. it helps in finding out the problem
unknown basis of that managers takes effective decisions. Thus, improvement are made within
process.
Also I learned that that is need to take effective decision to solve a problem. for that there isn't
model known as six thinking hats model. it states that there are various thinking styles of people
to discuss a problem. These thinking styles are white hat Red Hat Black Hat etc. this unable
scene analyzing problem from different viewpoints and solving it. Similarly in Amazon the
problem is analyzed with help of fishbone diagram and then thinking hats model is used to take
effective decision. I gained knowledge about how fish bone diagram work and is applied to find
out cause and effective relationship. This model is used by companies to identify variation in
process. Therefore, amazon is also using this model in order to find out defects in their operation
and solve it. I learned that business increase operational efficiency by removing defects from it.
Hence I got to know net Amazon is highly successful in e Commerce industry because they
regularly motivate their employees by applying maslow and herzberg theory of motivation

Reflection on relationship between theory and experience
Here I found that Gibbs model is useful in describing the experience which I learned
throughout the activity it is as follows
Description- in this I was given a task to prepare a report on Amazon and its operational
management. So, we divided out work by assigning roles. Besides that, we have to write content
and then make power point. Thus, as I was working in team I learned various things such as
preparing schedule, assigning roles, communication, etc. and it helped me to learn how I can
work in team with roles assigned and schedule prepared. So, it was easy for me to do so as I
already possess some knowledge about it (Saidaminov, and et.al., 2020). This will help me in
my professional career.
Feelings by doing assignment I felt that my performance was average as I was not able to
complete my task in given time. So, this created a poor impression of me on my team members.
This is because I did not prepare any schedule that how to work. Also, I did not taken any help
or support from others. I faced certain problems in it. I made many mistake and was not able to
understand that how decisions are taken. Then, I faced problem in applying decision. I did it in
wrong way and it took lot of time for me to learn it.
Evaluation– I found that there were various things which went well and which was not. I was
easily able to search and prepare report on Amazon. It is because I got information available on
Internet but here the thing which not went well was I was not able to complete assignment on
time. This is because I did not prepare a schedule and work accordingly. so there was delay in
completion of project (Shao, and et.al.,, 2020).
Conclusion I got to conclusion that there are various areas in which I need improvement so that I
am able to complete my assignment on time. it will also help me in my professional growth. I
need to work on my time management skills so that I am able to complete task on time. It will be
highly useful in increasing my capabilities. Besides that I need to improve my research skills so
that I am able to do research in effective way.
Action plan in order to improve my weak areas I need to develop an action plan. this will give
me direction that what steps are to be taken to develop skills. besides that, I will be able to
achieve my goals with help of action plan. Besides that I will be able to review my progress and
make changes in action plan accordingly. Therefore in this way I can enhance my skills and
achieve goals (Wang, and et.al.,, 2020)

From the above assessment it has been summarized that reflective practises plays a vital role
within communities as well as in organizations as it helps in personal development of an
individual. It has been analysed that there are various kinds of theorical models that can be used
for reflection that can be used to identify areas in which improvement is required to be brought
and skills that are required to be developed and enhanced. Reflection helps an individual to learn
from their own experience and use that learning in future. From this assessment it has also been
summarized that there is a direct relationship between reflection theories and one’s own
experience as it helps an individual in reflecting their own experience, identifying flaws or
mistakes done by them and develop an action plan so that required skills can be developed and
