INTRODUCTION
As the world is getting synchronised the interaction between the other economies has
become much easier comparing to previous times by meeting the terms of trade, politics,
education, production, tourism etc., the advantages of globalisation to world is advancements are
made in technologies for development purposes. The barriers and hindrances in trade are reduced
which enabled free flow of goods and services. With all the advantages and disadvantages,
corporate social responsibility's effectiveness and drawbacks are discussed in terms of improving
the world, and problems raised related to immigration are detailed in this report.
MAIN BODY
Advantages of globalisation.
 Employment opportunities are increased: As world is developing rapidly, the set up
and expandability of businesses are made easier in other economies. This widening of
businesses enable the present generation to get opportunities of employment without
switching to other countries. The establishment of business lead the economy to grow
faster and wider (Brambilla and et.al., 2015).
 Effective education system: The educations are getting better and effective as increment
in employment opportunities encouraged the current generation to pursue their education
in order to improve their talents and knowledge. Also, advantages of globalisation lead
economies to move to abroad countries to pursue their further education without any
hindrances.
 Free and faster flow of information: Advancements in technologies and means of
communication like media, internet etc., enabled the countries for free and faster flow of
information to meet the requirements and exchange of views and facts (What are the
advantages and disadvantages of Globalization 2016).
 Quality of goods and services are improved and increased: Due to exchange of ideas
and knowledge of other economies the goods and services can be improved with
innovations and nuances.
 The prices of goods and services are decreased: Exchange of goods and services
encourages the countries to sale goods and services at low prices as the number of
substitute gets increased as other economies also display their goods and services for sale.

 Cultural barriers are reduced: With the exchange of trade, education, and other terms
enables the countries to reduce the cultural barriers which can create hindrances
to(Dunford and etal., 2015)
Disadvantages of globalisation.
 Degradation of economy: The disadvantages faced by developing and underdeveloped
countries are the laws are taken for granted in terms of protecting environment by
developed economies. Degradation are made by dumping the imperialistic waste in
backward economies which pull the sector behind.
 Unfair conditions in working: Labours from backward economies may get exploited by
multinationals which lead to social injustice. Health hazards can arise due to unhealthy
conditions of working which create huge barriers.
 Growth rate of employment falls: The increase in multinationals discourages the
prevailing economy to commence businesses which affects in terms of fall in growth rate
of employment.
 Increase in disparity among rich and poor: As the focus is not made on developing
and underdeveloped countries the differences between rich and poor gets increased which
can lead economies with increase in poverty rate. This also increases in regional
disparities.
Corporate Social Responsibility is effective in improving the world.
There is a strong connection between organisations and CSR, human resource plays a vital role
in articulating and approaching effectively towards it. CSR helps the company or organisation to
improve in terms of performing (Van Hoa and Harvie, 2016).
 Transparency is practices: The trust can be build by effectively performing
organisation practices by being completely honest, aggressive and maintaining
transparency openly. Organisation gets encouraged adopting best practices by being
transparent by sending effective message.
 Purchasing decisions make sustainable: With the help of sustainable the honesty
regarding company can be well determined. By communicating effectively to consumers
social responsibilities can be performed by meeting the needs of the public which lead the
economy to grow as well with growth of society.

 Active role and support community: Dual mindset is opted by organisation while
making decisions that have impact on global. Companies can take effectively part in the
community by performing some beneficial work with specific roles and responsibilities
for maintaining better relation with public (Bengtsson and Östman 2016).
 Innovation encouraged: The quality of work gets improved by effectively performing for
corporate social responsibilities as the facts and drawbacks are acknowledged and ideas
are generated by active participation, this lead to encouraging towards innovation for
locality benefits.

There are certain criticism and barriers in implementing CSR that are detailed in following ways.
 Lack of resources and strategic vision: Due to lack of resources either that includes,
expertise, knowledge, financial or human that creates a barrier to implementation of CSR.
Even, the lack of strategic vision creates hindrances to address public relation effectively
which leads ineffective results in locality.
 Lack of evaluation and control: There should be effective evaluation and control over
performances by which ethics should be considered. Lack in evaluation and control lead
the organisation to lay behind in terms of development and taking initiative part in
society.
Negative effects of high level of immigration on UK.
 Immigrants affect jobs and wages of employees: As, the number of immigrants gets
increases in UK economy the jobs and wages gets affected directly as the increasing
number of employees. The increment cannot be made soon as per needs by which
workers can skip out (Zajda, 2015).
 Creates unemployment: Due to immigrants, employment to local public gets decreased
as, the talents and skills of other nations are considered primarily. Also, the immigrants in
order to settle may not demand for higher salary.
 Fiscal impacts: In terms to gain more revenue the rate of tax are increased for the
immigrants comparing to existing public. This impacts acts as positive for the UK
economy but negative for immigrants as they may be unemployed or students etc., by
which question arise on affordability, this create discouragement in immigration.

Solutions for problems related to immigration in UK
Without leaving one's economy, crisis in immigration can be reduced (Georgiadis and
Mehl, 2016).
 Multinational companies can be expanded in developing and under developing countries
to enhance the revenue and gross domestic product and net domestic product which boost
the standard of living of the people.
 The size of populations and certain measures to control population can be made for
reducing the immigration.,
 The growth of the economy and standard of living of people should be concentrated.
 Illegal immigrations are controls by effective evaluation (Reese, Rosenmann and
McGarty, 2016).

multinational corporations. Young generation of developing countries move to the countries that
are developed, very easily to gain in terms of knowledge and employment which brings
