Background of study: To run an environment responsible business is helpful to reduce its
impact on the nature and in preserving natural resources. Businesses can help the nature an d its
resources with several ways. For instance, it can use products which makes it less dependable on
environment such as rainwater tanks, solar hot water systems. Or use products which are made
with recyclable materials such as recycled plastic items, furniture made with recyclable rubber
etc. This type of nature friendly practices will not only reap benefits for environment but
business organisation are also able to save their monetary resources (Attig and et. al., 2013).
These kind of environment responsible practices also promotes the business which sets them
apart from their rivals and attracts new patrons who desire to purchase goods and services from a
nature responsible business firm. The present investigation is based upon the impact of
implementation of environment responsible practices to meet sustainable objectives with specific
reference to Marine Court Hotel, a small scale hotel in UK.

P2 Project management plan
The below table defines the plan for project management. The first task is to find a topic
for the research which will take 125 days. The designing problem statement will take shorter
time of 9 days. Also, a time frame will be prepared which will take 4 days. A literature review
will be prepared which will take 20 days to complete. Costs will calculated in a spam of 10 days.

P4 Small scale research by applying qualitative research method
This section discusses about the research methodology in which number of approaches are
executed for developing guidelines for the study. It presents an important proposition to
researcher for conducting defined investigation along with some logical measures for it. Also it

gives assistance to readers in interpreting the methods used by investigator to carry out the
research. Below are the numerous measures applied by the scholar in this research: Research approaches: Research approaches identifies the interpreted formulation of
investigator to conduct the investigation with a defined manner. A selected approach is
then responsible to showcase the entire context of research in which there are two kind of
approaches. They are called inductive approach and deductive approach. In the current
study, inductive research approach is preferred which will take study in a particular
context of analysing the affect of enforcement of environment responsible practices to
meet sustainable objectives in Marine Court Hotel (Cozby and Bates, 2015). The other
research approach deductive approach is not given preference in this study as it limits the
entire scope of investigation and takes it from generalized to specific context which
could not be applied in this particular research study. Research design: The first and foremost consideration of scholar is to conduct the
research by choosing a logical pattern to start it. It is a dependable variable which entirely
relies on the chosen title of the study. In the present investigation, it is conducted to
examine the affect of execution of nature friendly practices to meet sustainable objectives
(Swearengen, 2012). This is in specific reference to small scale hotel in UK known as
Marine Court Hotel where the researcher has given preference to descriptive research
design to carry out the study. This chosen research design proves to be an aid for the
surveyor to conduct an in-depth study of the chosen title where other two alternate
research designs named as Explanatory design and Exploratory design are not applied in
the current investigation. Research philosophy: It is one more central concern for the scholar to choose a
philosophical way to conduct the investigation. In this, there are two types of different
philosophical measures which are called Interpretivism and Positivism research
philosophies. Both of them are very contrary to each other. The present study is based on
interpretivism philosophy which is generally preferred to evaluate the subjective nature
of the research title (Coleman, 2013). The second choice of positivism philosophy is not
applied by the researcher for studying the present subject matter because of its objective
explications.

 Sampling: For the purpose of sampling, there are two kind of different methods that are
usually meant or distributing the respondents in a proportionate manner. In this particular
investigation, surveyor has given preference to purposive tactic of sampling to ask 10
employees of Marine Court Hotel. One more tactic of random distribution is not chosen
by the investigator because of its non probable technique which gives random assortment
of participations (Vamsi Krishna Jasti and Kodali, 2014). Nevertheless, the applied
purposive method of sampling relies on the tactic of forming possible distribution of
respondents which assists the current study. Data collection: This is the most essential concern of investigator to collect responsible
set of data and information from several different sources. For this motive, there are two
types of methods which are used for collecting data. They are named as primary sources
and secondary sources. The primary data is gathered by directly interrogating the
respondents of research to collect needed information from them (Sahu, 2013). On the
contrary, the second choice for researcher is the secondary data collection in which data
is assembles from authentic books, journals, magazines, online publications and many
more. In the present investigation, the investigator has given preference to primary
sources of data under which 10 employees of Marine Court Hotel are questioned by
taking help of a questionnaire. Data analysis: In this, the collected data is analysed and interpreted which is generally
performed by choosing methods of data analysis. With reference to this, there are two
kind of different tact of analysing the collected data. One is qualitative data and second
one is quantitative data. The selection of any one tactic relies on the chosen research
philosophy (Mackert and et. al., 2014). Thus with reference to the current study which is
conducted t analyse the analyse the impact of implementation of environment
responsible practices to meet sustainable objectives for which Marine Court Hotel is
taken into consideration. Wherein, the investigator has also preferred interpretivism
philosophy for interpreting subjective nature of research title. With reference to this,
qualitative data analysis method is chosen as it is the most helping way to examine the
recent subject by conducting a thematic analysis in it. Research constraints: There are certain restricting components when a well defined
research is carried out. In this the primary requirement for researcher is to adequate time

and money to conduct the investigation. The primary concerns of investigator are
restraining budget and limited time period to conduct such a wider set of research. Apart
from this, very less number of secondary sources of data collection is one more important
concern of the researcher. Thus, it is necessary for the surveyor to conduct the
investigation by taking support of Gantt chart for setting a well defined time span with
certain effective measures to set a budget like activity oriented budget that can be applied
for planning the investigation (Harper, 2012). Both the tact are preferred by the
researcher for conducting the research based on analysing the impact of implementation
of environment responsible practices to meet sustainable objectives in particular for
Marine Court hotel.
 Ethical concerns: There are some ethical issues involved when a research is carried out.
This is to define its moralised nature of presence. With reference to this, there are several
ethical concerns which are a pre-requisite to be adopted by the scholar. These ethical
issues includes taking permission from the respondents which are employees in this
particular study. They should not be pressurised to take participation in the investigation.
They should engage in the research with their own interest and will (Cozby and Bates,
2015). One more ethical consideration which the researcher should take into account is
the appropriate citation in the study so that verifiable and authenticated secondary sources
of data collection can be remarked. The recent investigation has showcased an ethical
practice on the part of surveyor in which employees of Marine Court hotel had given
their confirmation regarding their interest and willingness to take part in investigation
before the questionnaires were sent to them through emails.

asked about the business practise of Marine Court Hotel being nature friendly. The information
so gathered denoted that out of 10 people, 4 agreed that business practises were nature friendly
while rest 6 strongly disagreed. This implies that majority of employees considered the strategic
governance of company to be non-friendly.
