Gibbs reflective cycle model
Gibbs reflective cycle is adopted in different situation and it is helpful in assessing at.
And this is adopted to increase understanding as well as proof related to learning that is
dependent on practice (Adeani and et. al., 2019 ). It is determined as a valuable instrument to
adopt after important occurrence that help in practice related to generate new learning as well as
create new ideas. The Gibbs reflective cycle model was given by Graham Gibbs in year of 1988
that appropriately focuses on incident and their occurrence during particular phase of time
period. Therefore, there are different kinds of elements of Gibbs reflective model that is going to
be mentioned below:
Description- they focus on conducting survey that help me in collecting important
information which is useful in organising particular research in an appropriate manner during
particular phase of time period. Therefore, it is necessary for me to collect important information
which will be helpful for me in collecting important or actual information during the period of
time.
Feeling-before collecting data, I am focusing on conducting survey and use
questionnaire method in order to collect information regarding & data which is necessary for me.
There are different kinds of questions which are asked by me to respondent in order to conduct
particular research in proper manner. Therefore it is necessary for me to conduct different task in
proper manner.
Evaluation- Herein, there are different kinds of sources such as primary & secondary
methods such as questionnaire, survey as well as book for collecting important information
which will be useful for me in conducting different task in proper way.
Analysis- It is the next phase of this specific model and the analysis attempts to define why the
experience was optimistic and negative and should form the wide section of the reflection. In this
phase, I make analysis about my evolution of the experience regarding the data collection. I
determine that my experience is positive because, I get effective support of responders in context
of collection of information (Gibbs’ reflective cycle, 2018). I think the reason that my initial
division of work went well was as each person has a say in what section of the task and project
they wanted to work on and i segmented as per to the people’s self identified capabilities.
Conclusions- I learned that when I divide work, I must plan that how I want each section
to look and feel-having completed this would likely have made it possible to put the sections

together and submit without much or ant rewriting. During the time of data collection, I also
learned that I sometimes have to challenge the decisions I appear to agree when working in the
group of make sure that we are not supporting just because of groupthink.
Action plan- When I will work in the group next time, I will take to them about the abilities
they have. This will make easy the segmentation of work as per skills of individual. Along with
this, I will also make focus on the high use of social media tools in order to collect information
because it makes easy the process of data collection.
