Introduction
The term reflection means self analyzing i.e. introspecting one’s own performance. Reflective
thinking represents critical thinking that includes the process of analyzing and judgments of what
has happened in the work performance. Reflective thinking helps a person to learn from his
previous work and apply that knowledge in their next project. One can understand his own
loopholes, area of improvement and future opportunities and work effectively on those elements
in future. This opportunity gives them chance to improve their performance in future.
The individual reflective account reflects the work and efficiency of a team who worked together
on a particular project for several weeks and delivers a presentation on that particular topic. Each
member of the team has different roles, they perform on the specific task at which they are good
and deliver the task within an appropriate time. It also represents that how the group
communicates with other team members and co-operates according to the requirement. Time is
also an essential factor, individual time management is very essential for a group performance.
Every attributes are important to show that how the group interacted along with each other for
their best performance and appropriate outcomes.

Individual Reflective Account
What went well?
Communication: The communication in our team went very well; everyone communicated very
nicely and performs their task according to the demand of the project. Our group presentation
was perfect, the presentation of apple i-phone 7 was very attractive and everyone appreciated our
performance. Every team member of our group was very co-operative because of which we
could easily understand everything correctly and deliver our project on time.
Time efficiency: Our team manages the time very effectively. Due to appropriate time
management we could deliver our project presentation before deadline. Every team member of
our group delivers their work on time. They constructed a plan and completed each activity
accordingly. Good time management helped us in enhancing our productivity and the
effectiveness. It is the main aspect of a team project, which involves important skills such as
goals, planning and getting the best outcomes. We could easily manage our time effectively and
execute the outcomes on the proper time (Baumer ,2015).
Not so well
Conflict: Team conflict is a major issues, it detonates the performance of the team. It mainly
occurs between two or more members of a team, and that affects the results of the teamwork.
Thus, the team cannot perform at their best level. Team conflict occurred several times between
us and created many disruptive situations for a team performance, our team also faced the same
issue and as a result many misunderstanding took places and the team performance got affected.
Some members were not comfortable to work in the same team and they were not performing
their best. The overall performance got affected and the project was not completed on time.
Lack of trust: Lack of trust makes the situation very difficult for us while we were presenting our
work and performing together as a group. During the presentation many misunderstanding took
place due to the lack of trust. Our team members were not ready to believe each other and they
were not performing their best. The entire team performance got defoliated and the presentation
was also incomplete. Few slides were not included and as a result, the entire presentation was
affected.

Poor performance: Poor performance is a major factor, which also affects the growth of the
project. The project could not able to meet the deadlines due to which the work remains
incomplete. Poor performance delays the entire project and the work does not get an appropriate
solution. The entire project moves in a wrong direction. Thus, tackling of poor performance is
very important for a proper outcome.
One’s own contribution
I have done a thorough research on the product, which are essential for the project as well as I
have done the critical analysis of the project. I have identified many key attributes, which are
required for the project development and contributed largely for the best possible outcomes.
After the thorough research, I have gathered specific knowledge on the key materials and
executed properly according to the project requirements.
Identifying the strength and weaknesses: I have identified my strength and weaknesses on the
research. I have particularly worked hard on my weakness and tried to fulfil the gaps in the
proper time. Identifying the key elements is very essential to fulfil the gap of the research
project.
I have gathered much knowledge on the products that are required for this project and
contributed largely for its success. I have co-operated with every team member of my group and
appreciated their ideas for this project.
Others’ contributions
Each member is important in the overall project completion. Each contributor should put equal
efforts for the success of the project. Our team members understood the desired result, thus it
make better individual decisions and reduces the confusion and the re-works. Every member of
our team was very co-operative and helpful they submit their work efficiently on time without
any confusion. Project work is often free flowing by the collaboration from every team member
(Katzenbach and Smith ,2015). Group lead plays a very important role; he understands
everyone’s query and reply to them accordingly. Collaboration is imperative for the ultimate
success of the project. In our team, everyone was willing to collaborate with each other.

Conclusion
Individual reflection resulted from careful planning, continuous development and co-operation
from every member. It is the ability to respond quickly on the received feedback and thus it
makes the entire work easier and this entire process is important for a successful teamwork. The
collective efforts and the mutual understanding of all the team members ensured the quality of
our project. Appropriate time management ensured the commitment and efficiency of our work.
Team effort has a great contribution for the overall success. Every member of our team gathered
some knowledge and develops their skills through this project management. I am confident that I
will use this knowledge in my future work as the importance of teamwork as an employability
skill is widely recognized.
