More technologies are developing as the technology is increasing and it is not limited to a period
rather than it upgrades time to time. The technology has been started with printing press to
digital books and similarly in different industries. The culture of a society reflects their values
and norms with their practices. Technology has put many effect on all the components of culture
as it changed the direction of development as it has been implemented (ANDOK). Digital
technology made human work effortless and they feel less burdened due the implementation of it
in their daily life. In this report it will be discussed, digital technology impact and how it is
changing with how it is changing the socio cultural environment. At last of the report the topics
of digitalization issue like can zoom replace classroom and how have digital cameras changed
self-portraiture is being discussed.

Digital technologies are rapidly changing in this technological era. In present day digital
technology is affecting various part of our lives and has become a necessity for most of the
people. At work place people use digital technology to communicate and gather information also
to solve problems which is well helped for their work (King, (2019)). People also uses digital
technology at home to keep in touch with friends and family, check balances, entertainment
purposes. People use digital technology in their daily life to interact with others on platforms
such as social media websites and mobile apps, such as Facebook, twitter and Instagram. These
kind of lifestyle is very relaxing for an individual as because of communication and leisure as
well as entertainment is available online. Technologies are basically designed to solve problems
that people face all over the world. The desire to confront issues and problems to find solutions is
what people to adopt and use the technology (LÓPEZ-GOLÁN, & et.al)). Finding ways to make
life easier and convenient also improves living standards for everyone in the people living
standards. While digital technology is used solve challenges and problems which could be
anything from developing hardware and software. Digital technology is helped in solving
problems for medical and others such as learning, providing solutions. Due to digital technology
the sustainability is been increased and with reducing time efficiency in work. Some of the

advantages that technology provides are digital encoding which provides efficiency in currency
exchange, binary code and other devices application. The storage of data has become very easy
because of technology like from past years the storing data have become smaller in size which
are pen drive, memory card, hard drives etc. these are generated from part of technology which
has created huge impact in changing the ways of implementing digitalization, tracking has
become efficient, storing huge records with accessing lots of data from anywhere (Fish, and
Syed, 2021). The access of content due to digital technology has become very efficient as the
different access of technology gave multiple languages content for people which broke the
barrier of language, allowing people to listen to song and commentaries from anyplace in the
world. Every digital service is done with a software programs this allowed to work which is done
every day which consider the industrial process, traffic lights, and rail and air traffic control etc.
Technology and society or technology and culture is interrelated and dependent with each
other. They influence the growth of each other as well the production and new innovation is also
interrelated with each other (de la Fuente, & Lacasa, (2020)). This impact is being always
present as technology was developed to fulfil human social and personal desire to work and
reduce efforts that they are putting to achieve goals. With regular invention of simple tools and
regular continuation of modern technology implementation such as printing and computer etc.
has been encouraging social environment to use and develop more technology to become more
efficient. Social culture is aware of the lack of technology can impact the load which will be
present if there is no technological experience is present. The impact of technology is very large
in our culture, tradition and social values in today’s generation which is regularly influencing
people activities. Culture in technology is important aspect as it judges, perceive and evaluate the
technology. To cover large group of people and large cultural dimension, technology should be
interrelated with each other and work together in technological development and preservation of
cultural value that are present in the society. A good balance between people of technology and
culture gives right to exercise freedom of expression in digital world which does not limit one’s
age, level of education etc (Mpofu, (2018)). with advantages there are challenges too present in
technology and culture as digital technology gives more preference to computers and mobile
devices to communicate and engage which reduces use of human resource. Technology is

providing the connection instead of face to face interactions which reduce engagement with
people. Because of this it reduces trust and respect towards each other.
As digitalization is increasing people are tending to use more information available in
social media and feed pages that gives quick information without any research or data revisiting.
This information’s have no source a no trust yet people believe in this kind of sources and use it
for further information practices (Meurer, & et,al (2021)). Social media promotes mainly fake
news in this generation where people show their own views and interest and by the relation with
it nothing can be proved or judged. The social media platforms are of different types which are
Facebook, Instagram, twitter. Formally twitter has posts for events, such as news which are
sensitive gains large response form users. A single tweet can result in huge reach and consist of
150 variables including time. Text, language, handle, location and many more. While using data
and reading tweets the data structure and quantity it is quite easy to manipulate the information
present in the tweet feed. Some other issue that can be present in twitter are bots, trolls and
cyborgs which are challenge. There online presence make content bad and include false claims
which result in bad image of social responses. This turbulent process for twitter which is leading
to misinformation is risking its reputation and user trust toward the app. New features are being
included in twitter as response to it that will result in cutting down misinformation and giving
their users more control of conversations. After the steps taken twitter is monitoring the fake
news which are flowing in the feeds and sections of user by making categories like misleading
information such as information or tweeds which being claimed that they are false and
misleading from fact. Disputed claims such as statements in which there are no claims of
accuracy and truthfulness or credibility of the information present and unverified claims that are
information which are unconfirmed while sharing by the user. Introducing new technology to cut
down is a necessity and twitter is going forward to stop this practice.
As the introduction of new technology people are shifting towards comfort in work and
other things it is not left behind the process of learning and teaching. Digital study and taking
classes through online platforms has been increased and has its own importance when the time
comes of its use. Zoom classes can take over teaching in traditional ways as people accepted the
use of it in past period of time and response of app was also good by the users. It provided what a

user and a student want, the availability of resources form the comfort zone of people was
providing learning platform through face to face communication of student. The response was
good as the condition was suitable for it to be launched but people still consider the old way of
teaching gives more exposure to student in term of education which far essential for a student to
get and experience the hard way to get education. As the sudden change and lockdown which
resulted in closing of schools and educational institution resulted in huge change in learning
process (Criado, & Villodre, (2018)). Which need to be resolved quickly in this condition zoom
app came very quickly and served the purpose. This was very beneficial for teachers as well as
students because the app was ways to mentor and learn to use with ways handling of large group
of people. The use of efficient in the time of need. The functions that were provided by zoom
was automatic recording, recording storage, remote student success, microphone aces, video
access and presenting screen digitally to large audience. The zoom app was not limited to
students but also in corporate fields meetings.

CONCLUSION
From the report it has been concluded that digital technology had huge impact on the
socio cultural environment in todays generation. The culture of a society showed their values and
norms with their practices. Technology has put many effect on all the parts of culture as it
changed the direction of development as it has been implementing. In this report the changes and
practices of the technology is been discussed with brief introduction and importance of digital
technology in people lives with further elaboration of socio cultural affect in technology. At last
of this report it has been discussed that twitter information showcase can affect in misleading
facts and how zoom application can change the traditional ways of teaching in today’s era.
