Sub: Letter of Intent for Admission in the Course of Early Childhood Education and Care
Respected Sir/Madam,
This is a letter of intent to draw your attention to my application for the course of Early
Childhood Education and Care. I am (Your name), a (age)year old female, hailing from (place of
residence, address). I have qualified (your last degree) in the year of (year) from (name of the
institution, address).
Since my early teenage, I have a deep affinity for children. As a 15-years old, I used to
babysit the children of my neighbourhood, as well as my cousins leaving with their families
nearby. As I grew up, I have been attracted to the study of child psychology and along the
course, was deeply influenced by Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy and research. I have two
little nieces, and it always fascinates me how they are growing up to become competent
individuals, developing their own understanding and perception about the world. And I believe,
as a responsible and sensible adults, it is the duty of the family members and educators to guide
them through the journey, so that they can embark on their journeys on a constructive note.
However, this guidance means no little task, as it entrusts huge responsibility and skills. And to
develop the right skillset, it is essential to receive proper training from an appropriate institution,
preferably a prestigious one as yours.

As a professional in the corporate sector, I have become weary of the tiring rat race. I
really want to pursue a career that allows me to contribute meaningful, constructive effort to
society I cannot become a mother at this age. Hence, pursuing the career of an Early Child
Educator is my only chance to be near to children, and have a direct involvement in their lives
while they grow up. As you know, a successful teacher always treat their students as their own
children and are concerned for their development in the most earnest ways possible. I can assure
you based on my relationship with my little nieces that I would love to spend the rest of my lives
working for kids.
. I have been recently married and want to start a new life, with renewed purpose and
opportunities. I believe that Perth will be an ideal location to start a new family home. It has
wonderful professional exposures, excellent educational opportunity as well as quality living
amenities. Also, I learnt that Perth is one of the best capitals in Australia in terms of security.
Therefore, I assume living in Perth is going to be a wonderful experience. Moreover, as English
is not my native language, I believe education and training in Perth will allow me to have a
rewarding exposure to the language.
In purview with my passion for children, I deeply intend to engage myself in the course
so that I could learn and work for the betterment of children, including those with special needs
and abilities, and contribute to the society in return. Also, I am well aware of the prospect of the
profession in Singapore, my native place, as it could provide me the opportunity of child rights
advocacy and administration. In Singapore, there is still a lack of infrastructure and advanced
curricula as per the global standard, to which I believe, I could contribute given the opportunity
and assistance to learn from the prestigious institutions in Perth.
