Innovation and creativity offers solution and better ways of doing business. All the
stakeholders in the education sector should work together to encourage the learners become
creative and innovative. In addition, innovation should be aimed at solving a particular problem.
Persistence is the ability to keep going until the goal desired are achieved. The business
sector has ups and downs thus, one should keep going until he/she succeeds. In the world, some
of the successful people who have made it are those that although they failed, they continued to
push for better results.
Looks at the St. John’s ecosystem map shared in the slide 20 of session 2. Please list
organizations supporting scalable startups, small business startups, or social startups
Organizations that support scalable startup are: National Research Council Canada,
Memorial University, and College of the North Atlantic. These organizations offer different
support ranging from training to funding. Although people and organizations may have the
vision and a plan of how to attain their objectives, training provides essential information with
study cases of some of the successful business and people.

Vision
One of the greatest trait in success is having a clear mind of where you want to go. This
helps one to have a plan of how to achieve his goals and objectives. More so, resources should be

made available to help achieve the goal. Having the right personnel who have the required skills
and expertise will make the vision a success.
Passion
Sometimes a business will fail many times and if one did not have passion for that idea
he/she will leave it. It’s therefore good, for one to always follow the heart when starting
something.

The stages in the evolution process includes: identifying a problem, validating the
problem, service validation, developing a business model, starting the business, growth, and exit

The best lessons learnt is the art of not giving up and following their dream to the end.

existing problem (Belz & Binder, 2015). In addition, one should have the passion and drive to
take up the idea into a reality.

The Y-combinatory is a system that evaluates start up ideas, to show if they are viable.
This process is open to everyone who wishes to evaluate their ideas. Everyone who wishes to
