Adoption of an EMS system within theorganization includes adoption of policy to control
the wastage of resources as well as the cost of towards the firm. Implementing the ISO 14001
2015 within the organization allows market based approach to insist on good management
practices while maximizing the efficiency of the operations. In order to implement the ISO
14001 2015 standard it is very much necessary that the company should adopt policy that can
minimize the cost saving the overall managerial cost as well as helping in conserving the energy
so as to reduce the greenhouse emission.
2. Policy to improve the corporate image and credibility:
Including the policy within the organization helps in gaining a lot of weightage while
gaining market value as well as customer satisfaction. Green orientation is one of the fastest
growing concerns among many stakeholders as they are much oriented towards environmentally
friendly products. Integrating this policy within the business will help the business to develop
environmental awareness within the corporate culture of the organization.
3. Policy to promote fast and innovative improvement on processes:
The implantation of the ISO 14001 2015 within organization also includes continuous
improvement of the firm’s environmental policy. In this regard, policy needs to be implemented
in order to initiate the firm for developing innovative process so as to provide less impact on the
environment while maximizing the efficiency of the company.
