INTRODUCTION
An electronics portfolio (e-portfolio) is consider as the purposeful collection of the
sample of student work and it is demonstration of artefacts and the showcase of the learning
progression, achievement and the evidence of the student work(Cheng, Chen and Yen, 2015).
The present report is based upon e-portfolio and the challenges such as T-shirt and presentation
challenges in the company. Skills are essential to meet the competitive edge present in the
market. Along with this team work is essential as this help in making effective decision to
overcome the hurdles and expand the business in the well define manner.
Main body
Skills and types
This is consider as the ability to acquire the desire aim and objectives in the systematic
manner and it is easy to make effort in order to create new ideas and job. In other words, it is
know as the pre determined result often with the minimum outlay of the time and energy. Skills
are often divided into domain of work in general skills they communication skills, teamwork and
leadership(Frankel, Gelman and Pastor, 2018). These are require certain environmental stimuli
and the situation to access the level of skills in effectively manner. Here some of the skills which
are explained down below:
Communicational skills:
These are the skills with the ability to use when giving and receiving the different kinds
of information. Some examples such as communicating new ideas, feeling or even the update of
the project. This is essential to understand the different communication as this help in doing
conversation effectively. There are several examples of communication is active listening which
means paying attention to what the individual says. As this help me to take effective decision
during the graduation year. It also me to understand the things better and it is useful for my
future growth and expansion.
Emotional intelligence:
Emotional intelligence refers to the capability of the person to m manage and control the
emotions and posses the ability to control the feelings in every situation. This is consider as the
essential skills during the coursework and aid the person to create self awareness, motivation and
empathy towards the work (Matar, 2015). This generally include emotional awareness as it bring
ability to manage the emotions which help in making effective decision for the betterment and

growth. To measure the emotional ability the psychometric test is taken to understand the
intelligence level of the person. Hence this useful in making effective decision in future.
Team work:
This is known as the process of working collaboratively with the group of people and in
order to achieve the goal. Teamwork is often crucial part of the business and this often necessary
for the colleagues to work together to achieve the desire goal in the limited time frame. The main
objective of the teamwork is that people needs to cooperate using this kind of skills for
improving the efficiency. This skills were useful during my presentation and aid to motivates the
students to work as a team.
Time management:
This is the process of planning as well as controlling how much time should be spend
over the particular task. It is essential to have good management which enables the individual to
compete more in the shorter time span and aid in reducing the work related stress during the
coursework. This also help me in attending all the lectures and also aid in completion of
assignment on time. Good management provide extra time to spend the daily life people can
manage and able to peruse hobbies and other personal factor. Along with this, it provide ability
to realize the goal which help in achieving objectives in the shorter length of time.
Meeting skills:
` Meetings are very important for the work of any aspect whether in the graduation or in
the company. A good meetings are essential to make collective decision making planning and
follow up the situation effectively. The meetings are essential and it should be ensure that team
should be on schedule a meeting time is valuable setting to discuss the point of view and the
agreement to the general course of action. There are different kinds of meeting which include
special meetings, general meetings.
Business skills:
These are the skills which have ability to complete the work which help in making
completion of work in the coursework. These are the skills which assist in manage the financial
issue in proper manner. Along with this, it help in negotiation and communication with the
different suppliers, potential investors and the customers working in the organisation. As this
also improve the marketing, sales and the customer service. This provide good customer service
and having a marketing strategy in the place which help in generating sales effectively. Further it

also aid the employees to delegate the authority to the different people to manage the task

Presentation skills:
Presenting the information clearly and effectively is the key in providing message to
another individual. This presentation skills will help me in future to express thoughts and view to
the larger audience effectively. Today the presentation skills are required in almost every field
and this is needed to give presentation on the different occasion. It covers a variety of areas
which include different structure of the presentation and also help in designing the coursework
effectively. It include variety of areas such as structure of the presentation, design of the slides
and tone along with body language(Mackey and et. al., 2016).
Excel skills: Teachers use the Excel when they need to compare the student to its peers.
In order to get the job the most of the people require excel experts as this is one of the most
demanding job require. Nowadays everything works on Excel and also help in making effective
decision and make work easy. This is essential for the teacher to make to take lecture on Excel as
this help in aid in organising the data effectively and it is useful to navigate the way effectively.
Models and theories:
In order to understand team effectiveness the Hackman model of team is used to explain
this model effectively.
Hackman model:
This model was given by Richard Hackman was proposed in the model which was given
in 2002. It help in gaining proper advantage the intelligence community was formed in order to
promote the effectiveness and growing team capabilities over time(Lussier and Kimball, 2019).
Here are some steps which are explained down below:
Real team: This is consider as the team have the boundary which is clearly delineates
which part of the team will take place. In these kind of team each individual are independent and
take decision on the basis of knowledge and skills.
Compelling direction: It refers to setting goals which are clear and manage the role
effectively. Along with this it help in motivating the students to complete the task in the well
define manner. Further it encourage team to strive together and work as a team.

Enabling structure: This allow to meet the end use effectively as this help in offering
better services to end user. However this help in organise the task and make sure that work is
completed on time.
CONCLUSION
From the above report this has been concluded that team work is important to this help in
making task easy for the person. Further this aid in improving the work efficiency with the new
ideas and innovation method. At last this is essential for the individual to improve the
communication skills which assist in flow of decision in a proper manner.
