The assessment will outline critical argument on global citizenship which is the idea that
promotes equal responsibility and role to very individual of world.
MAIN BODY
Global citizenship is a sensitive approach which promotes sustainable living environment
to every person in the world, whereas nationalism is an ideology which characterize individual
interest in political, social and economic environment. As per the view of Shackell, 2017, it is
articulated that global citizenship is a bumper slogan and the person is recognized them citizen of
world have no right to be judged. The study is an argument on the issued warning by British PM
who said that the individual who call themselves as citizen of world belong to nowhere. The
author in this article stated that the need to be less judgemental and should accept changes
willingly.
According to Smith and et.al., 2017, it is identified that education plays a vital role in
empowering people which promotes self identification of individuals. Education is the key
criteria which promotes integration of people from different social and economic background.
This helps in making people understand the concept of diversity which enable positive attitude of
society towards global citizenship. Thus, from discussion of both articles it can be aid that global
identity of people is the best approach of promoting sense of equality and belongingness among
societies
CONCLUSION
The report concluded by stating that for being a global citizen less of judging and more of
education play a crucial role in encouraging people to consider themselves as citizen of world.
