INTRODUCTION
The gender equality is being more promoted and used in the hospitality industry from
past few years. As female are not being givien equal opportunities in past year so by giving equal
opportunity to them the industry will grow effectively (Walters, 2018). Now female are also
given smiler opportunities in the hospitality sector to enhance their career goals. This report will
evaluate the starting phrase of this change in the hospitality sector. Further the past and present
role of women is discussed in the hospitality industry and respective changes are being discussed
by that. Moreover, prosper of the industry of hospitality with the change is being determined.

The history of hospitality industry explains that the hospitality industry is one of the most
man dominate industry same as other outstanding business industries in the market (Bithushan
and Jegathasan, 2019). When there any individual thinks about the staff members of hotel
whether it is at superior level that would be a man only 25 percentage or less than that are having
women position. There are different people who have make their support and efforts to involve
the women within this industry. When this all started out then firstly the women are being
involve and employed at lower level workforce. The one-half part of workforce in the industry
are having women as workforce.
This change is not made overnight the whole industry people have make efforts to
involve women as same as men in the hospitality industries. In the year 2016 the men are ten
times more promoted to higher position then women in the hospitality industry yet in the current

are number of different international hotels who have help to make the gender quality in the
hospitality industry. The hotels like Hilton, Marriott international and Hyatt many more are
doing their responsibility related to the equality of gender they are giving opportunities to female
so that they can grow effectively in the hospitality industry.

paid equally and women are working on fewer wages, and the organization is taking same value
