NTRODUCTION
Reflective essay is that of essay in which writer evaluate or examines his or her
experience in outer world or life. In this essay writer share about those experiences from which
writer has either grown, changed or developed from those experience. This is done to motivate
the writer to share their ideas or opinion on an open platform. Whereas, reflective essay more
use of I and me is done to share opinion on a project or assignment or module. In this individual
writes it's own understanding about the project and what difficulties did he/ she faced while
conducting it. This is totally based on the reflection and own perception, ideas or thought
regarding a project or assignment or module.
MAIN BODY
When I was working on this module, there were many areas which motivated me to
become a good learner and grab new concepts and structures. Gibbs' Reflective model is applied
by me in order to write reflective experience in which 360º investigation of the overall
experience for accurate reflection is done(Canagarajah, 2016). It the most popular model used
for reflection in the project or module. Gibbs reflective cycle motivates people to think about the
project or modules or assignments or tasks in systematic manner about the experience gained or
had during a specific situation or tasks.
Description
While working day and night on this project or module we were needed to develop or
frame or design certain skills and attitudes that are required elements in completing certain
activities. In this what happened in the tasks is included in description like, what, who, where,
when, what etc. did tasks took place in the market place. Normally description involves what
the I am trying to reflect on, who were involved in the reflection and background information.
According to me theoretical Composition is a transparent and the demonstration done of
information is effective and are shown by proof. This was compulsory of me to use scholarly
composition end-to-end projects to convey the message in systematic as well as in appropriate
manner. For the same, I expected to demonstrate my activity by neglecting copyright
infringement and by doing referencing to the content with proper proof.

Feelings
For me it was life-and-death occurrence to utilize scholarly written material in tasks
given for the project or module to me. In feelings we normally right about the project or module
what as a individual felt or thought while carrying the work or projects or assignments.
Moreover, I was quite nervous at initial stage, but many new concepts were there and I was not
aware of it in the early days. I got motivated by attending different sessions of the project or
module. It helps me to enhance or uplift familiarity with these practices and developed skills or
attitudes which would help me in achieving or meeting desired outcomes. Additionally, the
projects , I came to understand that it is important to gain knowledge about referencing and
different tricks to oversee plagiarism. It was critical scenario to demonstrate my work in a
professional manner which can be correctly perceived by the readers in the market place
(Farrell, 2015).
Evaluation
While working on this projects there were several feature which were good while
winding-up of the module or assignments. Plagiarism is the initial step in it. In this I learnt many
things like, what are the various methods to demonstrate the thing correctly and systematically
in my own words. Moreover, I learnt some of the techniques such as, how to use appropriate
sourcing in the projects or module. I also learned how to include citation of words in the work
of another writer. Creative writing also plays an vital role in conveying data in effective
manner by not using jargon assignments. All the activities in evaluation process helped me
complete my tasks in effective and efficient manner.
Moreover, various matter were reproachful throughout the assignment. It Involves
academic writing as well as references in it. While demonstrating my piece of work in a proper
structured manner I faced many issues. The thought flaw was regarding prioritising and clear
flow of work quite inconsistent for me. Whereas, my presentation of module also lacked
accuracy which is an important part of academic writing. Writing information in precise
formate or form is one of the essentials in this type of writing. I actually failed to discriminate
the collected information to derive the most accurate, useful and relevant data into my writing.
The issue which I faced in my work was of referencing. It was difficult task to select the most
reliable source to cite them in my own writing material. But some of the direct quotations were
systematically cited in the work or module. For me to ascertain suitable sources for my

information was very difficult task. Citing references and figuring out the reliable and relevant
references for the module or assignment was very challenging for me and created confusion may
time. Which leads to incorrect referencing in my written material and lowered its accuracy in
the project or module (Gaus, 2017).

Analysis
According to Graham Gibbs, showcased in Gibbs Reflective Cycle, step four shows what
can be learned from the situation encountered or activity attained. I learned the necessity to hold
by scholarly writing and what role it plays in showcasing my effectiveness. There are many
reasons which would have worked as in order to make the module more effective. One of the
reason out of it Educational Workshop. These workshops are created in order to provide students
with various concepts and learn them efficiently. While attending these workshops I feel I have
become more capable in my academic and writing skills. Also, it helped me in learning learning
new concepts whose implementation helped me in getting new and efficient references. It also
helped me in getting feedbacks as I receive feedbacks from my fellow mates and my teachers as
it give me ways to solve my obstacles. The knowledge I received about various factors helped
me in gaining feedback after I completed this module.
Conclusion
The effectiveness in how I do my academic writing, referencing and to avoid any
plagiarism that can hamper my knowledge. The knowledge I gained should presented in respect
to various factors showcased in this report. This aspect helped in getting a professional standard
in my work. Also, when I was attaining academic writing skills, it helped me in getting
knowledge and skills about certain factors whose applications reach I realise later. New and
unique processes were undertaken throughout the whole module so that it helped me in getting
insights of various capabilities and help me in raising the standards of how I do the presentation
of work. Also, all the information gained by me throughout the whole process is very valuable to
me and will be a part of me always.
Action Plan
In near future, if I had to face and go through any project which checks my skills of
academic writing, I would be able to formulate my information efficiently and will able to
undertake project effectively. The way I would be able to showcase my professionalism in
gathering information and coming up with evidences will show my knowledge in the field. Also,
I am willing to take certain training sessions in academic writing and referencing in effectively
providing sources for the difficult problems (Schön,2017). I would get insights from my fellow
mates and teachers for feedbacks and learn from the guidance while setting up the standards of

performance. Here, I would be able to justify with the promises I have made to myself regarding
learning skills of academic writing.

CONCLUSION
From the above study it can be concluded that reflective writing plays an important role
in going through several factors of performance in relation with certain activity undertaken.
Gibb's Reflective Cycle was used in order to know the scope which this study uses and allow
others to use it effectively and efficiently. Also, this reflection help other students in learning and
acquiring new skills through by creating and developing an action plan to remove any issues
with the project. Also, previous experiences and learnings plays a major role in establishment of
skills of academic writing.
