HEALTH INFORMATION SYSTEM CASE SELECTION AND PROPOSAL
Introduction
Health information system is important for any health care organization, in order to have a good
flow of communication regarding care users within the organization. The different types of case
studies that are found in ABC health care is information regarding care users, information
regarding health care professionals providing services, and the type of services provided by the
health care organization.
Comparison of different health care data
Health Information System alludes to a framework intended to oversee social insurance
information. This includes information that oversees, transmits, gathers and stores a care user’s
Electronic Medical Record (EMR), an emergency clinic's operational administration or a
framework supporting medicinal services strategy choices.
Since wellbeing data frameworks normally access, process, or keep up extensive volumes of
sensitive information, security is an essential concern.
According to Wager (2017), Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is important for any healthcare
organization to record all the health care activities occurred. From the company ABC Health
care, it has been found that the organization does have EMR. This EMR is an overall brief of
historical evidences of health care services provided by the company. However, it has been
found that the EMR is not frequently updated by the organization that might cause losing of data.
Other information system includes the record of health care initiatives taken by the company,
which helps the organization in knowing the performances of healthcare professionals. It is
important to mention here that the maintenance of EMR helps an organization in controlling
activities regarding health care monitoring the historical activities. Information system of health
care also includes management decision regarding health care services taken in an organization

(Andargoli, 2017). Preservation of decisions and policies implemented by the management
department of health and social care sectors can help in meeting the objectives of healthcare
organization.
Another important information system that is popular and highly efficient in health care is
Practice Management Software. This software enables medicinal services suppliers to oversee
day-by-day activities, for example, booking and charging. Social insurance suppliers, from little
practices to medical clinics, use practice the board frameworks to mechanize a large number of
the authoritative errands. In ABC Health care, it is important to mention that the maintenance of
EMR and PMS helps in meeting the objective of the organization.
One of the information systems that are needed for health care organization is Remote Patient
Monitoring, which includes only data of serious or complicated cases of health care users
(Lehmann, 2015). It is important to mention that the ability of meeting challenging cases
increases for ABC Health care for maintaining the Remote patient Monitoring information
system.
Conclusion
From the above study, it has been found that the EMR is the most important information system
in healthcare that need to be maintained in healthcare organizations like ABC Health care. It has
been also found that in special cases, the events get saved in Remote Patient Monitoring, which
helps in dealing with special cases, and increases the extension of providing healthcare services.
