the given scenario, conflicts arise due to Chinese top authority as it is operating various projects
at the same time such as development of roads, renovating Barkhor town, building of 'Lhasa
Paradise' by Intercontinental Hotel group. Further, it is making park based on theme in the city.
All this issues are lifted by London based NGO that define that this program will not be good
for heritage and culture values because it may hurt the religion sentiments.
This NGO has stated that these projects should be abolished because they are not following the
rules of government and are influencing the community in a negative manner. The main issue
behind that “ The Resort Lhasa Paradise” and IHG hotels are complying the rules and
regulations of government and are affecting the standard of living of people of that regions. It
also says that these hotels should exist in the outskirts of city so that they cannot harm the life
of people.
According to the research, it is recommended by NGO of London that government should find
out various ways by which local authority can preserve heritage and cultural values for long
period of time. It also states that Chinese government must do all efforts to develop a strategy
