Introduction
Human resource management is known as the approach applied to the management strategically
on the people or the employee of the organisation. I think human resource management helps the
company to attain the competitive advantage of the business so that they can achieve the goals
and objective of the business or company.
When I was working in a corporate company as a human resource manager then I use to handle
people with respect and dignity so that they can listen to me without any complaint and
argument. My experience in the company was positive because everyone liked my nature in the
company and my professionalism which really helped me to make people coordinate according
to my demands and requirement. I was good at manipulating and convincing people so I used my
power in the betterment of the company. The company encouraged and awarded me for my
performance and combining all the employees of the company for their common goal.
Human resource management
Human resource management means the function or the action in the organisation or company
that they always focus on the recruitment, selection and training of employees or potential
employees of the company (Noe, et. al., 2017). I ideas which I haven’t thought of is that human
resource management should sometimes take care of the personal problems of the company
because it is not always necessary that an employee will understand your problem. This
definition and my thoughts have changed my point of view for the human resource management
that it converted my thoughts from negative to positive.
Application of workplace:
The four practices which are included in the responsibility of human resource are:
Recruitment and selection: Human resource of the company’s basic work is to recruit
and select the employees or potential employees who want to work for the company.
They choose the person who matches the mission and culture of the company (DeBoer,
et. al., 2013).

Achieving a balance of work and life: after recruiting and selecting the capable
employees for the company HR implement s the work schedule very flexible.
Training and development: this process is the management function of human resource
which is consisted of the orientation and induction of new employees with the older
employees of the company.
Compensation and benefits: these are earned by the employees together after presenting
the comprehensive look out of how higher management reward to their lower
management or employees or worker level.
Each and every process will affect me as an employee like if the HR of the company will be
supportive then they will get a better understanding about the working of the company and they
will not think that they are bound at some place while recruitment of the employee's HR should
co-operate them and encourage them to give their best.
Key demographics and employee concerns:
Retaining employees
The key demographics and main concerns of an employee are whether their company will keep
them or they will kick them out of the company as per their requirement. Employee retention is
the main issue for both company and employee because sometimes employees leave the job so
the company also want to retain those employees who are skilled.
Aging employees
Age is also the biggest factor why companies sometimes do not keep employees like that.
Companies always keep a certain age above or below that they do not hire and keep so it is also a
matter of concern for the company.
Assessing the risk
Assessing the risk is also another key demographic of the company because it is very important
for the company to find the areas of problems and solve them in a very effective and efficient
manner. Assessing the area of risk is always necessary for the company to grow themselves.

Identification check of potential challenges
In this step, the company will examine and analyse of the situation and one which will make
available the company’s information very easily is data of the company (Jiang, et. al., 2012). It
will help the company to be ready for the new problem in advance so that their time for the next
time will be saved.
Reasonable accommodation
Reasonable accommodation means any kind of change to the job, working environment or the
change in the action of the activities of the company which makes an employee apply for a job
with disability (Choudhry, 2012).
Reasonable accommodation can help in accessing the benefits which are available to the people
for another individual within the workplace. As per me accommodation is very important for an
employee if he left his earlier job then he has to join at some new place which is necessary for
the company to understand. Company will take the employee easily.
