MASTERS IAP 607: Independent Critical Analysis of Leadership Impact

This project presents an independent critical analysis of transformational leadership within the hotel industry. The research identifies organizational culture as a crucial element, highlighting the failures of many hotels to shape their culture effectively. The study employs a qualitative research methodology, including a causal research design, deductive approach, and primary data collection through interviews with a food and beverage director at Marriott. The findings emphasize the positive influence of transformational leadership on organizational culture, employee engagement, and retention rates. The analysis suggests that effective leadership strategies are essential for improving workforce dynamics and overall organizational efficiency. The project references several academic sources to support its findings, contributing to a deeper understanding of leadership's role in the hotel industry.
