The project is the re-construction of the website
http://www.instituteofknowledge.com.au/about and the sponsor of the website is Dr Syed
Ahmed. The changes in the website include the modification of the website logo along with
the changes in the home page of the site. The re-construction of the website will be done in
order to gain enhanced customer attraction and user experience levels. This will result in the
enhancement of the revenues and profits earned by the website.
Aim
The aim of the project is to re-construct the website to gain enhanced level of user and
customer experience.
Requirements of the website
Broadly, the website re-design project has category of requirements. The first one being
functional requirement and the second one being non-functional requirement. Functional
requirements cater to those requirements that the website or the application is expected to
perform and the non-functional requirement covers those aspects of the design that includes
how the application is expected to perform. First, the functional requirements would be
covered. These are elaborated below.
Functional requirements

development and design. These includes the usage of HTML5 technology, the latest
MySQL technology for database, PHP7 for coding the logic of the website as well as
CSS3 for designing and styling of the website.

Linux server or any comparable modern Linux server, an SSD hosting with minimum
320 GB storage, a minimum of 4GB of Ram as well as gigabit-based bandwidth.

first activity will be the meeting with the project client. An initial investigation report will be
