Response
Welcoming everyone in the meeting with appreciation will be the first approach used for
the meeting. It will be made sure that every participant in the meeting experiences a warm
welcome regardless of his or her home country. The language for the meeting will be chosen
considering the proficiency of the participants in the meeting. Before starting the meeting, I will
introduce myself to the participants of the meeting followed with a brief interaction session with
everyone. The interaction session will help in knowing the names of the participants, which will
make addressing easier. I will ask each member in the group to have a quick interaction with one
another by shaking hands for facilitating ice breaking activity. Then, the theme of the meeting
will be introduced for the understanding of the further discussion. Participants will be allowed to
ask questions in regards with the theme, if they have any.
In a work environment, opportunity for participant involvement should be encouraged for
each member of the group. Opportunity to each member in the meeting for participating in the
activity reflects cooperation as well as make them feel involved. The cultural background of
every participant will be highly respected and appreciated. In the meeting, not a single member
will try to interfere in the cultural aspects of others. I understand the diversity in the group,
which can reflect different opinions regarding any particular issue in the discussion. It will be
made sure that every opinion is treated as a value addition with equal importance in the
discussion.

In the beginning of the meeting, I will conduct an ice breaking session for the members
of the group. At the end, I will congratulate each participants in the meeting followed by offering
drinks for initiating the unit by sharing. This will ensure proper interaction of the members
before concluding the meeting.
I will present the documentation of the unit by ensuring interactions among the members.
It is important that the members of the meeting know each other before the commencement of
the meeting, during the discussion as well as at the end. Being the leader of the group, I will set
an example by interacting with all the members. I will ensure friendship with appreciation
among all the participants in the meeting. A leader should portray effective skills of leadership.
The first thing a leader should be able to understand is the likes and dislikes of each participant.
In dealing with a diverse group, a leader should be a mind reader for understanding their likes
and dislikes. This quality will help in identifying the characteristics of each member of the
meeting.
