In every organisation, human resource department plays a crucial role for the emerging
the firm in the development path. This is one of the most crucial department as all the remaining
departments are based on it. As, there is a need to form policies effectively so that the most
talented candidates could have filled in the firm and they works together in order to attain firm
pre-set goals in an effective manner. This report is based on the selection process of the
employee. There are some issues faces under Untied parcel services which are related to
leadership, management and administration issues. Which is the main reason firm is making
losses for few few years (Rodríguez-Carvajal and et. al., 2014). To be a HR manager of the firm,
there is a need to make the business policies so that their business operations run in such a way
where they can get the positive advancements in terms of performance. To upgrade or develop
the leadership style in top level managers so that they could frame policies effectively and also
made certain changes as per the requirement of the situations in the firm.
TASK 1
1.1 Documentation to select a new employee in the organization:
Under this recruitment process, firm find adequate candidates for suitable job profile.
UPS can adhere following documentation procedure in order to select desired employee.
Approval of recruitment:- This is the foremost step under selection process as approval
from the top level management and finance department is essential. The top level
authorities would check actual requirement and then they would communicate to finance
department relating to salary. If they does not have enough resources and needs then, they
will directly refuse for recruitment process.

There is a need to make effective review of employee works in order to know the weak
points or areas of particular candidate and then try to overcome these issues in an effective
manner so that the management could attain their targeted goals (Goetsch and Davis, 2014). A
perfect review of employee performance is must ad this renders information related to the areas
where they are required to improve and this process also know the actual performance so that the
incentives, training can be provided to them. A proper planning is required to be needed in order
to controls and analyses their work effectively so that they could perform more effectively.
There are various issues which demonstrates a big impacts for forming plan regarding these
issues. USP's main objective is one of the main factor this kind of planning as they concentrates
on rendering more services to more consumers so that they requires regular monitoring on
employees. As, if its employees act unethical practices then the company will consistently lose
