INTRODUCTION
The project is about the medium and small size business organisation that how they are
managed their business and operation. The report also focus with the aims, and objectives its
growth and development in the future time being . The organisation is dealing with the CSR
activities and they perform there role in the management social responsibility. Under the report
one of the leading company M&S logistics is highlighted that how they managing the business
and to responsible with the social and health care . It is also based on the quality and time to
manage the project management and the amount of risk associated with business (Shattock.,
2010) . The project also target the work break down and the Gantt chart of that are used in the
small business .and most important the research pattern used to find out the desire result for the
business to achieve the goals of the organisation.

P1: CSR ,Its aims and objectives in the business planning
In an organisation whether small or medium size it need to have certain aims and
objectives. Because these aims are base for management plan project. For an organisation both
internal and external factors are analysed by the consultant before making any decision regarding
project planning. CSR is the responsibility of the business toward the development and growth of
the business with the social benefit (Eckerson., 2010) . It is seen in the most of the company that
they are involve in making profit but there are so many other company like M&S which dealing
with the care of the society and its development .
For the successful business it is important to have CSR activity which help them to make their
business to reach at the top level .
Its Aim:
 An aim of a business is the objective of the business entity. The aims of mark and
Spencer is trying to get maximum profit in the long run. They are expecting to get
maximum profit in current year business. (Keller, Parameswaran and Jacob., 2011).
Objectives
 Reliable business: The important objective of the company regarding the CSR activity is
to make the business so reliable through the satisfaction of the customer and the
society(Trevino and Nelson., 2010).

 Must be responsible for the environment : the M&S company is make there best effort
toward the CSR that they are avoiding the harmful thing of their activity which gives
negative impact.
 Another important objectives of the organisation is to provide safe and healthy working
environment ( Mathur and Kenyon., 2012) .so, that they feel motivated to their work.
 It investigates the economic, social and international level under which activities of Mark
and Spencer are operated.
P2 Plan for the business with time, cost and quality
Mark and Spencer is one of the largest retail store that are associated with delivering
superior quality of product and services. The basic reason for this plan is to set a vision and
mission statement which are helpful for the company in fulfilling its project. (Gharajedaghi.,
2011). So, the basic requirement for the business is the amount of the investment and its impact
on the business. Project management is more responsible for allotting role and responsibility to
each and every member those are involve under the project. There are various things must be
consider by the small and medium organisation before going for the new business plan like it
was seen in the company M&S logistics.
 Idea: It is an important phase before making a project plan an ideas should be generated
that would help the company to start its venture. The overall base of project is rely mostly
on the idea which going to be use by the company. The concept of the plan must be clear.
 Time : The next step is going to be time duration of the project. Whether the plan design
for the short time or the long time (den Hertog, van der Aa and de Jong., 2010). The
project are actually based on the assumption. The probability of the growth is based on
the project future.
 Cost: Cost is something which is directly impact the business of M&S, because the cost
which is incurred on the project are must be flexible. so that extra expenses are not be
incur on the department in the future. The society would be able to meet the requirement
of the business.
 Communication: It is important for the business to maintain proper communication
between team member and the society (Edmonds., 2011) .so, that they can able to support
the business activity.

 Risk: The most difficult part for any business is the risk involve under a project. It must
be analysed and controlled accordingly. (Giesen and et. al., 2010).
 Resources: In setting a project company need to allocate resource which are useful under
this process. The manager of the project must ensue that resources of the company are

In the above mentioned work break down structure is showing the stages of the work
division of a projects. The project is divided into three stages and each stages is sub divided into
another various weeks and the last sub week is divided according to the date they are working on
the project. The work is divided according to week so that resource are managed accordingly.
The major focuse is given on the early completion of project. So that minimum wastages can be
done (Hacklin, Klang and Baschera., 2013).
Gantt chart : It is series of the horizontal line which explain the total amount of work
completion in a certain time with the time allotted for the planned periods. In the company of
M&S logistics is used to check the availability of the time and cost require to complete the
projects. Various activity or events are shown on the charts against the suitable time to the
projects.

The above charts shows the activity of the tasks with the time period they all are
horizontally displayed which provide the clear picture of the task . The grey colour of the task
indicate completed task and the red colour indicate the remaining portion of the task . It is the
easiest way to manage the project and is also used by the company as a CSR activity(Crawford
and Nahmias., 2010) . Comprehensive management of the plan with the aim and the objectives.
The successful business is the basic idea for the development and growth of the individual and
the company like M&S logistics which are every time trying to achieve their aim and objective
of the projects(Gustafson., 2012). The company is making various plan for the society
development by providing job opportunity and the training to the skilled people in the business.
The aim and objectives of the company must be focused with target to the
accomplishment of the goals with the proper planning and working environment to the society as

under this research project:

data are not available with the company. The chance of mistake can be too much in this

organisation. There is no direct communication between the member in the business
planning.
2. Interviews: It is two way communication between the management and the member to
