Introduction
The assignment is prepared by analyzing the research paper which is focused upon the enterprise
system. The research paper which is selected to complete the assignment was published in
International Journal of Computer Science and Mobile Computing. The main aim of the
assignment is to understand the framework of architecture and patterns associated with enterprise
system by the help of the research paper. This paper describes the support of the enterprise
system for the decision making and creating communication with stakeholders in any
organization. In the assignment the purpose and the focal idea of the authors will be explained as
well as the argument of the paper will present in the assignment. The methodology which was
used to complete the research paper and chosen by the authors of paper will be discussed in the
assignment.
Research Question
The assignment is prepared by question selected from the research paper; on the basis of these
questions the information is taken which are mentioned below:
1. Explain the term architecture and its functioning for the system software?’
2. What are the processes followed in the Architecture of software?’
3. Explain the Architecture of enterprise system and why it is necessary for an organization?
Architecture
To explain any software system basically, there are two type of frameworks are defined which
are known as Frozen spot and hot spot. The Frozen spot describes about the entire architecture of
the software system. These are the basic components of the system of any software also they
remain unchanged after the installation of the framework of an application [1]. The hot spot can
be defined as the parts which are used during the programming linked with the framework by
involving their self-generated code so that they can complete their own project with the help of
their distinct functioning .When the developers design system of the software by using the
software framework they deploy the hot spot which depends upon the particular need and
demand of system. In the framework of the software the pre-defined framework transfer the

messages to user-defined classes; the method used by the developers of implement it is
superclass.
The architecture of the software is responsible to perform many functions; it helps the project
manager to complete the requirement of any project. The architecture of software is categorized
with four basic or core activities which are conducted at different stages in which the initial
developmental stage of the software and evolution of the system are included [2].
Architectural Analysis: The process which is used for the acknowledgement of the proposed
system and for the determination of the requirement of the system. The requirement for
analyzing the activity can be derived from any number of stakeholders [3].
Synthesis of Architecture: This process reflects the designing of the architecture by
determining the requirements. In the process the analysis is conduct upon the present state of the
design and the result of the activities which are obtained after the evaluation; once this process is
completed the design of the architecture is either designed or get improved [4].
Evaluation of the Architecture: In this process quality of the available design is determined, it
can occur in any case of designing decision for the architecture. The software which is available
for the evaluation of architecture is entitled as Architecture Tradeoff Analysis Method (ATAM).
Architecture Evolution: This process is used to maintain the existing software according to the
changes of environment and to meet the requirements. The evolution or the maintenance of the
software architecture is mandatory which affects the structure of software system. The software
architecture is responsible to provide the fundamental structure of software system [5].

Architecture of Enterprise System
The architecture of the enterprise system is the entire system architecture of IT department in an
organization. To manage and evolve the IT system as well as the business operation the
architecture plays crucial role [7]. The enterprise system of the organization should not be
monolithic associated to the system of IT. The system must design in the dynamic manner and its
structure should be static as similar as the organization; it will help to maintain and to provide
assistance in the business tasks of the organization. There are various benefits can be obtained
after the implementation of an effective enterprise system architecture which is defined below
[8]:
 The analysis of the architecture provides support in the analysis of the system at
architectural level.
 It helps to understand the business to operate so the management of the business can be
improved.
 It plays key role in planning the business activities.
 For the restructure of the business and for its integration this process is very useful.
 It helps to provide the useful and required sources to evaluate the results of the main
transformation in any organization.
The architecture of the enterprise system is the systematic procedure to understand the
description about the capabilities of enterprise system which is used to execute the function in an
organization as well as for the satisfaction [9]. For entire resources which are required to achieve
success of the enterprise or organization are included with the architecture of enterprise system.
The main purpose of the enterprise system architecture is to complete the requirements which
can complete all the needs of the customers or stakeholders. It helps to develop a communication
through which the interconnection between the system and the elements of the system in an
organization can understood [10].
Methodology
The research paper which is chosen to complete this assignment is prepared by the qualitative
method of research. Authors of the research paper starts to analyze other research papers and
journal articles which were already available. In order to get the brief information contents
associated with the ‘Enterprise system and Architecture’ were collected and analyzed. The main

aim to choose the qualitative method was to get the deep understanding about Architecture of the
enterprise system as well as the benefits which an organization can achieve. By using the
qualitative method authors were able to collect the entire information and processes which are
included in Enterprise system and its architecture.
Conclusion
The report helps to understand the enterprise system and its architecture including its importance
for an organization. This report is prepared with the help of the research paper ‘SOFTWARE
ENGINEERING: Architecture Design and Frameworks’ by considering the questions which
were used in the research paper. The objective of the report is explained by which the need of the
this report can be clarified. By analyzing the report it is concluded that every process which is
involved in the enterprise system and its application are designed to provide assistance to
function of the organization. For the organization which are operating their buisness at global
level they have vast operations and it is not easy to control them for such organization the
enterprise system plays critical role. With the help of this report the architecure of the enteprise
system is briefly explained. The methodology used to prepare research paper which is chosen for
this report is also described in the reprt.
