INTRODUCTION
Business strategies and operational activities are crucial in order to manage and control
production and profits which will be done by managing various resources effectively. In this
report, factors that helps to design operational management and strategic framework will be
discussed (Banerjee, 20170. Quality management concept and concept of operational
management is assessed with a critical evaluation in this report. At the end of the report,
operational roles will be discussed for Oak Pub business.
Key areas of operational management
1) Framework of operational management
The policies , goals and strategies falls under the operational management of Oak Pub. It
helps in promoting work place culture and finding out business opportunities. With this business
knows what they have to do in order to achieve goals and objectives. Besides this, laws and
regulations formulated by government is also taken into consideration. These all sets up
framework of operational management (Belvedere and Grando, 2017).
Organisation – it helps an organisation in creating a better working environment. Manager
assigns roles and responsibilities to employees in order to achieve goals. It helps in effective
managing and controlling activities of pub. Thus, manager must define role and duties in
effective way so that sales can be increased.
