interested me in getting the response of employees. It helped in understanding the organizational
culture with the evidence from the Oman public sector organization. It is discussed in the article
that employee’s help in making the business work and culture helps in connecting the employees
with the organization. Organizational culture helps in improving the quality of employee
performance. In the organization, culture is considered essential for removing the challenges
which are faced by the organization in making the changes in the organization (Shahzad, et al.,
2012).
In the article, organizational culture is described as the innovative, supportive and bureaucratic
culture. In the organization, culture is required for creating effective performance. It is necessary
to build suitable communication and manage the capabilities for achieving organizational
commitments (Shahzad, et al., 2012).
A quantitative approach is adopted in the article to understand the culture and the employee’s
performance. It is analyzed that the supportive culture in the organization creates a positive
influence on the performance as it leads to promoting hard work, creating trust and respect
among the employees. Supportive culture in the organization helps in balancing the human
resource development and facilitating the employee’s cooperation for achieving the better
outcomes for setting the goals. With the help of a supportive culture, employees encompass
teamwork, encourage and trust the working environment. Along with the supportive culture,
bureaucratic culture in an organization is also discussed in an article that created a positive
influence on the performance of employees (Isa, et al., 2016). It helps in creating a high level of
formality in the business function and making the employees understand the situation. The study
has been conducted which has analyzed the impact of the supportive and bureaucratic culture on
performance. In the public sector, bureaucratic culture is common because of the strong nature as
in public organization employee’s behavior requires the rules, norms and implicit ways of

culture. It is analyzed that the organizational culture plays a crucial role at the time of
recruitment as the culture helps in guiding employee recruitment which helps in hiring the right
candidate for providing better performance. It is also analyzed that effective cultural practices
help in getting the higher performance of the employees. In the public as well as the private
sector, the management is required to pay close attention to supportive and bureaucratic cultures
for improving the employee’s performance in a positive way. In the work environment, the
adoption of culture will be helpful in improving the performance of the employees for achieving
the objectives. It is necessary to understand the culture of the organization for removing the
challenges which are faced by the employees. Culture helps driving the competitive work
environment and result oriented which demands the leaders to be effective. It is been analyzed
that the bureaucratic and supportive culture is essential for the employee's performance (Isa, et
al., 2016).
