INTRODUCTION
People are the most crucial asset of any business and are required to be managed effectively.
Employees are the backbone of an organisation that can either made or made it’s business value.
The work performance possesses by them ensures success for the entity Thus, it is highly
required from the companies to manage people in the organisations in effective manner. The
present undertaking comprises two sections namely research and report. In the first part, a
research has been done to analyse the existing practices of the organisation in context to the
people working there. Whereas in second section, ‘Report’ various constituents that are required
to manage employees of an entity will be discussed. This will cover the use of effective
communication methods and their significance. In addition to this, practices that should be
adopted by the human resource management will also be examined. Besides this, appropriate
leadership style will be selected. Furthermore, various ways in which tea can work effectively
will be discussed in the present undertaken report.
The present assignment is based on the people working in an entity Century Limited. The
selected firm belongs to shipment industry where all three types of roles are present, part-time
remote, field work and full-time remote.
TASK 1: RESEARCH
People in organisation are its’ most important and valuable components. They are the
backbone of the organisational functions. For analysing the significance of employees in an
entity, Century Ltd. is selected. There are various factors that my create issues for the employees.
In order to manage effectiveness in the functions, it is necessary o analyse those flaws and
replace the with the effective strategies. Further, to identify the working environment of the
selected company, a questionnaire has been conducted. In this survey, sample sizes of 60
employees who are working in the firm have participated. Below are the questions which were
asked in the questionnaire:
