1.1 Identification and reflection on my approach to personal
learning and development
The personality development plays a very important role not only in the personal life
but also in professional life of an individual. This is basically a lifelong process in which an
individual identifies their skills and knowledge and set the objectives according to their
motives which help them in increasing their ability. With the help of this identification of
skill an individual can effectively set the required goals for his life and also boost up their
confidence. Along with this, this also help in developing the personal vision by making
effective strategies. Personal development is basically the process of self improvement
which help an individual in focusing on developing their skill knowledge and awareness.
Different types of activities has been comprises in the personal development which not only
develop the capabilities and potential of an individual but also facilitate in employ-ability and
enhancing the quality of life. Starting the development procedure assist in making effective
and progressive future. Personal development and learning increases the interpersonal skill
which comprises the effective communication and listening skill. These skill also plays a very
important role in an individual life. As environment changes everyday it is very important for
an individual to manage their emotions.
1.2 Identification of the transferable skills I have already developed
by attending this module
Different types of skill has been developed by me while working in this assignment.
During this module I have learned that adopting the changing technology is very important
because it helps me cope up with the competitive environment. The skills which have been
developed by me, help me out in facing the different problems and also help me in making a
great future. The skills which I have improves has been discussed below :-
 Problem solving skills – Different types of issue and problems has been faced by me
during my academic period because I don't posses the problem solving skill. I use to
leave the assigned work or not be able to effectively solve the problem. But while
working on this assignment I am able to develop the problem solving skill within me.
As I was working in a team various problems has been faced by me and I effectively
solve all the problem by sharing my innovative and creative ideas. With the help of
this skill which I have developed during this help me and my team mates to complete
the project on time.
 Effective Communication Skill :- while working on this project I also improved my
communication skill. As the project which were assigned to me is group activity, so I
have to involve in the group discussion and along with this I have to present my self
in front of my team mates. By sharing my ideas to my team members and by doing
the debates within the group I have improved my communication skill.
 Written skills :- good writing skill is being required in almost all the sectors. With
the help of this skill an individual can effective on the electronic media like emails
and many more. During this module I also evolved this skill within me. This skill

permits me to effectively communicate with my team members on email and
messages with utmost clarity.
 Learning skills:- learning skill is not basically related to the reading or studying, this
is related to feel the new experiences and developing the innovative thoughts. While
working on this module new types of experiences has been experienced by which I
have learned the different thinks. This improved my knowledge and learning skills.
The above discussion has been done on the skills which I have improved while working on
the assignment however I also improved many other functions and things. I highly working
on all the skills which I have developed to make my future better and successful. I also find
out my weak regions which act as a obstacles in my success.
1.3 Skills I would like to develop during my academic studies,
personal life and the workplace
After the completion of the given assignment, I feel that I need to developed many
more skills which improves my personality. The development of all these skills help me to
become more confident and competitive among my team members. The skills which I would
like to developed during my academic, personal and professional life has been discussed
below :-
 Presentation skill :- I would like to developed the presentation skill within me so
that I can effective explain my ideas and thoughts to my team members within the
work place. Along with this, I can effectively present my self in front the audience.
 Leadership Skill :- this is being considered as the most important skill which I
would like to developed within me. The improvement of this skill help me in my
professional and personal life. So it is very essential for me to develop this skill.
 Interpersonal skills :-the development of this skill help me
communicate and make good relation with my team mates and my
colleagues with in the workplace. Good relation plays a very important
role in achieving a successful position life.
 critical thinking :- this simply means that thinking out of the box. With
the help of this skill I effective face the all the problems which I can face
in my personal and professional working. Along with this I can
effectively analyses the data.
