1.0 Self-reflection on personal learning and
development, and the transferable skills
It is important to focus on essential capabilities and skills so that an individual can
become successful in academic and the professional career as it requires particular skills,
abilities and development (BURLACU, 2019). The skill development is considers as a proper
procedure in which it is vital to determine requires skill in student's or employees life that has
to concern towards success in the professionalism for the learning new skills. Main purpose
of this report is to concern towards different abilities and skills that permit individual to
evaluate particular determinants in successful career; this portfolio will recognize personal
SWOT analysis and other learning joinery in order to represent my personal development and
transferable skills. Moreover, it will also contain the self reflection on the personal
development and skills.
1.1 Identification and reflection on my approach to personal
learning and development
Interpersonal and developmental learning are related with each other that sustain
development of the self reflection (Lin and Magnuson, 2018). In order to conduct the self
reflection on certain approaches that I have been implementing for year in professional and
personal development also allow me to overcome from my weakness by analyzing or
performing my SWOT examination on the basis on my weakness and strength. To focus on
my professional and educational goal I have adopted various approaches by emphasizing on
various reading material which will be helpful for me in upward my a proper self reflection
on my weakness and strength as well as professional and personal skills. The SWOT analysis
of my personality include existence of the well-built communication that allow me to perform
effectively or efficiently with my colleagues at work place, that enhance and improve my
problem solving ability (Sotiriadou and et. al., 2020). My weakness includes low patience
level and emotional in the complex situation. Beside it, I have opportunity to work in the
warehouse operation and a free knowledge access when forceful competition at workplace is
my major threat.

1.2Identification of the transferable skills I have already
developed by attending this module
I have already developed several skill by attending this module. These developed
skills are mentioned below:
 Listening skill- It is most significant skill for every person (Misra, 2018). I have
developed this skill during the time period of this module as it is very essential for an
individual to listen carefully to perform given task in efficient and effective manner.
Through academic learning, listening skill can be developed and it was helps me a lot
in completing my task or assignment with a clarity which is very important. For me it
is very essential to listen other people for my career development as this skill help me
to understand any matter and take right decision appropriately.
 Information technology skills- During this module, I have developed this skill. It is
analyzed that, knowledge of information technology is very significant that need to
acquire to perform efficiency and effectively. At the time period of this module, my
professor mainly focus with this skill that is very useful for my further career. By
learning this skill, I become able to grab the important information to know basic
knowledge of the computer. Technology skill support me in completing the given task
effectively. In context of organization, employees are dependent on technology. So
they need to have knowledge of different technical team that can be improve and
enhance individual's efficiency (Naamati Schneider, Meirovich and Dolev, 2020).
1.3 Skills I would like to develop during my academic studies,
personal life and the workplace
During academic study, I would like to develop various skill in my professional and
personnel life. These skills are discussed below:
 Communication skill- During academic and studying of of various aspect,
communication skill is very essential in order to communicate with other people in
effective way (Shulgina, Savitskaya and Mitchell, 2019). In respect to my chosen
field, communication ability play a major role, so I need to develop and improve my
communication skill that will enhance my productivity level. This significant skill I

need to acquire in order to perform well within marketing filed and also score good
market in academic study.
 Analytical and research skill- For further self development, analytical and research
skill is required essentially (Ping, 2018). This skill is related to individual's analytical
problem solving ability in which they find effective way (Shtaltovna, 2021). Being a
marketing executive, this skill is very important for me as in this field it require
market research that need to be determined to understand customers. It also help me
to completing my assignment and other project timely.
