Introduction
Personal and professional development refers to the process of
enhancing the knowledge and skills of every employee so that they
can able to achieve set targets and objectives in effectively. It is the
duty of organisation to select prospective candidates into the system
so that they can able to follow all instructions and rules to
accomplish final objectives or vision.
Solutions to work-based problems
There are various problem or issues occurred while performing
business activities at workplace. All such problems restrict an
individual to achieve growth and success in their professional career
due to which they feel demotivated. Among various, two work based
problems that may occurred in an organisation are as follows:
Working as a team: As it has already been noted that working in a
team will bring more positive result as compared to individually
efforts. But apart from this, there are some issues such as conflicts
among team members which may occurs due to different opinions of
team members. This will make negative impact on the overall
performance of team members thus need to resolves by leader of
team as soon as possible.
Developing channel of communication: It is important for a manager
to develop proper communication channels with the help of which the
employees can communicate with each other and sharing their views
and suggestions with others. It will help in maintaining healthy
relation among employees.
In an organisation there are large number of
employees having different cultures and
background due to which an employees are not
comfortable in interacting with other due to
cultural differences. Through this, an employee
may hesitate in working with employees
having different cultures which may bring
disadvantage to employee as well as an
organisation.
Conducting learning programs: The manager
need to conduct learning programs for their
employees so that each employee can able
understand others and communicate with
one-another without hesitation. This will help
employees in achieving growth and success
in their professional career.
Team building exercises: The
company need to motivate their employees to
work in a team through organising team
games or group related activities which help
them to understand the feelings of others.
This will help employees in knowing other's
strengths and weaknesses as well.
