In order to conduct and govern any project towards the success line or
primary project objectives it is mandatory for the project managers to
identify the project management application. In order to monitor the
performance of the project managers and incorporate mandatory
changes in the project, proper application of project management is very
essential.
I have learned that, it is the role of the project manager to keep their
focus on certain project knowledge areas in terms of communication
management, financial management, procurement management,
resource management, risk management, scope management, schedule
management and quality management. Each of the knowledge areas are
equally important for ultimate project success. I have learned about the
activities of program communication management process that involve
distribution, storage, disposal, retrieval and information collection. I
have learned that the different methods required in the program
communication approaches include information distribution,
performance reporting and communication planning.
I have learned that proper communication will provide a clear
performance view to the project team members and let the associate
realize the different people who will be communicated. I think that
before implementing any project if a financial framework and financial

allocation of cost, overrunning resources and over allocation of time. I
have also understood the application of program integration
management and realize how it helps to coordinate different program
management activities together throughout the project management life
cycle period. I have learned that, schedule of a project can be managed
by developing WBS.
