It is of a great concern for the organizations to develop effective leaders and leadership
behavior. A positive leaders has various aspects which makes her/him the leader who is able to
influence employees. Employees tend to perform with excellence when they are led by a positive
leaders. There are several qualities that positive leaders possess which makes them achieve the
goals of the organization along with their team and other employees (Day et al. 2014). One of the
significant quality of positive leader is self-reflection. Reflection is the intermediate that allows
people to generate meaning from an experience The outcomes of reflection include behavioral
intentions and new insights Through reflection on obtained feedback, learners become aware
of their strengths and weaknesses and can take targeted action to improve their performance.
Moreover, reflection supports the learner in dealing with unexpected or negative feedback:
(Sparr, Knipfer and Willems 2017).
Reflection is quality of positive leader and the goal is to emphasis the way reflection
helps in building the leadership qualities in a person (Mortensen et al. 2014). The goal was
successfully achieved since the presentation was able to cover the entire related aspects of the
positive leader that includes self-reflection as one of the main component. Reflection acts as a
major psychological capital. The targeted audiences were the people who aim to work in
organization in future and the people who are currently working in organizations and are willing
to take leadership positions in their respective organization. To state simply the presentation was
conducted covering the important aspects of a positive leader. Therefore, the presentation was
able to give information that the audience were seeking regarding the leadership qualities.
However, further details would enhance the presentation. Also, time management of the
presentation would have been better while conducting the presentation.
