REFLECTION
This year I have learnt variety of things that has helped me in enhancing my learning,
knowledge that I have gained and new skilled developed. In order to explain my learning
experience and progress in have made during my learning experience I will be using jenny
Moon’s model of reflection.in which four levels of reflection have been identified (Moon and
et.al., 2016).
This year I have learnt various kinds of new concepts, topics and developed various kinds
of new skills. I have learnt about performance management. Performance management is one of
the most important things which is required to be focused upon by organization. Performance
management helps an organization to increase efficiency and skills of their employees so that
their overall skills and performance can be improved and organization can achieve their desired
objectives. It not only helps in bringing improvement within employees but it also helps in
motivating employees in a positive manner. If an organization wants to enhance overall
performance of their employees, they need to focus upon adopting an appropriate employee
performance management and measurement strategies. They are various kinds of strategies
though which a firm can manage and measure their employee’s overall performance (Salerni,
2020). I have also learnt that if an organization wants to manage their business functions
properly, develop an effective strategy in order to gain competitive advantage, they need to focus
upon implementing information system within the organization for management of their main
task and activities. Information system plays a vital role for a firm as it helps them in
management of their data or information in a proper manner such that this data can be used by
the organization for effective and accurate decision making as well. I have also learnt that when
an organization operates at international level, they face various kinds of issues in terms of
cultural difference whether in terms of employee’s behaviour, assumption or belief, or because
of cultural diversity of employees. This cultural difference can impact a multinational business
directly. They are various theories that can be used by companies for understanding cultural
differences in a proper and effective manner.
This further helped me in development of various kinds of key skills that were important
for me for developing my professional career. One of the most important skill enhanced was
communication skills. I was good in written communication skills but still I needed to bring
improvement within my oral communication skills. I had always faced difficulty in presenting

interpretating and communicating mathematical information for solving real world problem.
Problem solving and team work were two important skills that I have developed during this
learning experience but still I still need training and development of enhancing my problem-
solving skills.
I have worked on a team project but due to lack of time management skills and team
working skills me and my team members faced difficulty in completing project before time not
only this, due to lack of time management skills various kinds of issues were faced by me during
this time period. There is still are of improvement and working on a team project helped me in
identifying different kinds of skills that I need to work upon like time management sills,
leadership skills and team working skills.
