REFLECTIVE ESSAY 2
Part A
The reflective essay discusses the level of analysis aspects of experiences of learning and
studying. The levels of analysis involve biological, physiological, and sociological perspectives.
The environmental influence on the behaviors, feelings, and thoughts are as a result of the
psychological and sociological aspects, and the experiments bring about the affection of behavior
towards a person's thinking ways. Negative thinking and self-control emotions showcase
psychological behaviors during the social behaviors. The model of the level of analysis helped
on the change of views leading to positive effects on learning. For example, the model helped the
student with his concerns about others, viewing him as dreary and had a problem of speaking up
or answering questions in class due to negative emotions. After the study of the model, the
changes occurred on ignoring the negative beliefs of I cannot and overcoming them. Through
this approach, the ability to learn from their own mistakes ensured the strength of positive
feelings that encouraged positive thoughts and behavioral activities.
The scientific study of human society, known as the sociological modules, has behavior
and culture among its aspects. The modules explain and showcase that intelligence is different
from different cultures. The ability to acquire and application of skills and knowledge is the
intelligence, and the levels of analysis aspects on experiences and learning made the student
experience emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence ensured the learning of self-
management, self-awareness, and empathy. The aspect of self-management resilience teaches
about how to stay calm during pressure through critical thinking and emotion balancing.

REFLECTIVE ESSAY 3
1. Choose an aspect of the topic and explain why it has interested you most
An attitude is an expression of feeling towards a person, thing, or situation as it evaluates the
object of thought on people. The attitude change is the occurrence due to the modification of an
attitude. An attitude towards someone, something, or a situation, is the leading cause of attitude
change due to the psychological spotlight effect. The main reason for choosing this topic is the
relationship between the topic and my experiences. Before learning the aspect of the spotlight
effect, the feelings of cognitive bias towards me by my colleagues, friends, and relatives affected
my attitude. The attitude could change the feelings of observations and notices on behaviors and
personality by people. This realization made my attitude change from positive thinking to
negative thinking. After the spotlight effect affects learning, the ability to realize the weakness in
my mind and attitude was easily lost and got the energy always to think positive and have a
positive attitude towards everyone, situations, and things.
2. Describe an experiment or research conducted on this aspect, and explain how the findings of
this experiment or research relate to the broader topic
According to (Gerd and Nina, 2012), states attitude as a way of evaluating a person's
thoughts or mind. In its finding, the relationship between an attitude and attitude change. For an
attitude change to occur, the conceptualization of attitude occurs due to the differences between
repeated behaviors of attitude formation. The memory-based conceptualizations ensure the old
attitude stored in mind leading to the formation of a new attitude. A real experience causes
attitude change through the expression of feelings and emotions. People tend to trust the
cognitive messages from highly credible sources they receive. The cognitive messages represent
messages used to invoke a feeling and emotion towards something. Therefore the findings of the
research express the relationship on the topic.

3. Provide a short quote from a text or reading, which illustrates an important point related to this
aspect.
People's attitude does conform to a person's behavior in the future, according to (Allport,
2015 pg. 5). The reaction of the attitude asserts that if someone likes a certain product, they are
more likely to select a particular brand of products over others. The factors influencing attitudes
may include prior experiences, accessibility, and confidence. The behavioral attitude relationship
involves the attention one receives and the exposure to that particular information. Believing
forms an aspect of spotlight effect, though, as it tends to associate with the behavioral attitude as
an attribute. People tend to have high expectations about the likelihood of a positive event
occurring than a low expectation of a negative event occurring.
4. Identify how this aspect has helped you understand either experience from your social world
or a recent global event.
The aspect of the spotlight effect on attitude and attitude change has helped in changing my
attitude towards media use. My first experience with media consumption never felt like listening
or watching any program, but after that got an amazing talk show in the radio station. The news
update, celebrity gossip drew my attention and got the interest to consume their information.
This change in attitude attributes to media influence on our everyday life. The media content
changed the ways of thinking, social value, and behavior. Therefore mass media reflects the
society and a medium used for social change.
