Topic – A career at La Cité Collégiale
Main idea sentence - It is the dream for many students to pursue their career at La Cité
Collégiale. La Cité Collégiale is one of the most renowned colleges, famous for its courses in
French language, technology and applied arts.
Introduction
Since my childhood days, I have been a keen fan of applied arts and French languages.
My desire towards arts and paintings grew more after I got fascinated in the art gallery by the
French paintings. According to my believe, La Cité Collégiale is one of the best colleges offering
the programme I am seeking to pursue in my career pathway.
La Cité is a significant college situated in Ontario, providing applied arts and French
language courses. The college is firmly rooted in the National Capital Area and Eastern Ontario
for about 25 years, offering over 140 post-secondary programs with a clear emphasis on student
achievement. As well as the situation of the main campus at Ottawa, La Cité also includes
Professional Trades Center at Orléans, which is a Hawkesbury satellite campus
One of the main reason behind my decision to pursue my career in this college is that, La
Cité has rendered student achievement its principal priority for more than 25 years. The different
programs including services and support provided to help the students and also to make sure that
each and every one of these learners can achieve the best out of the degree provided, together

being prepared to excel in the employment market1. To date, more than 30,000 students who
graduated from the college proved that the approach is successful.
Some of the other benefits that I will get after pursuing to this college is that La Cité has
a residence with room for 250 students in addition to having state of the art laboratories and
services. From the year 2011, at the “Skilled Trades Institute in Orleans”, La Cité also started
providing much of its construction and mechanical programs.
Conclusion
My decision to join La Cité Collégiale revolves around my aim and passion towards applied arts
and French language. In September 2018, La Cité also launched Excentricité, a brand new
building of immersive technology and entrepreneurship, which provides cutting-edge facilities
for experiential multidisciplinary learning and exceptional work experience. This will
furthermore facilitate me to reach my dreams or my goals.
