PRESENTATION
 The presentation will reflect on the ways the essay in the task A1 was structured.
 The presentation will also involve my experience of developing the academic
essay and an evaluation of it.
 The presentation will also explain the stages of writing which were discussed in
the lecture notes which was very beneficial to me.
 The presentation will explain that attending the study skill sessions have helped
me to a great extent in order to complete the assignment

EXPERIENCE OF UNDERTAKING
THE ACADEMIC ESSAY
 I began my preparation for writing the essay early when they provided the topic.
I began collecting ideas and jotted them down to create the outline of my essay.
 I figured out the ideas that would be necessary for the essay. I streamlined the
ideas into the framework provided. This helped me to carry out the essay easily.
 The reason I find writing the essay on comparing the education culture of the UK
and India as mentioned in the essay, the UK is certain one of the most favorable
host country for studying abroad.
 I am one of these people who have considered studying in the UK, however I
always researched and found the advantages and disadvantages of an
education system.

ALTERATIONS OF UNDERSTANDING

 The study skill classes have been very helpful to me as it gave me detailed idea
about the ways of structuring an academic essay.
 It provided me the opportunity to explore my research abilities and the ways it
can be utilized with the academic structure.
 Also, the reference link provided by the study skill was extremely helpful for me
to frame my essay.

REFLECTION ON UNDERTAKING
THE ACADEMIC ESSAY
 The essay has certainly taught me to carry out the essay in a professional
manner. I feel I have analyzed and researched the education system of the
UK and India appropriately and compared them in a well manned way.
 It helped me gained knowledge regarding the differences of the two
nation’s education system. I became aware of the problems of India’s
educational system in more details.

ACTION PLAN CREATION
 Start early in order to avoid complications
 set goals in order to understand the time frame
 Decide a time frame to finish it timely and revise it
 One of the weaknesses was to lose track of time while researching and not
being able to streamline the research data. Therefore, I will be setting
goals and time limit for each task regarding the assignment.
 Also, I will invest time in developing my critical arguments regarding the
comparison of any ideas.

CONCLUSION
 The academic essay helped me explore a topic with deeper understanding
 Reflecting on it gives us better understanding of areas that needs to
improvement
 I was able to become aware of the importance of the study skill materials
that helped me carry out the essay.
 I was able to become aware of the areas I need improvement and the
resources I can utilize.
