TASK 1
Developed as learner during this module
On basis of knowledge and creativity, I was developed as learner in this module to attain
success as knowledge is information and understanding related to subject which a person has as
it is on basis of facts, information and skills directly acquired via experience and education. In
the same series, creativity is known as act to turn imaginative and new ideas into reality. It is
directly characterised through ability to pertain world in innovative ways and to extract hidden
pattern and to make connections among seemingly not related to phenomena and to produce
solutions. In my opinion knowledge management is set of principles that directly governs
business and organizational process design along with particular process, technologies and
application which helps to dramatically leverage creative ability for delivering business value. I
feel that, it lays emphasis and responsibility on particular individual along with holistic nature of
knowledge management.
In the present scenario, each one is naturally creative and required to create fundamental
driving force in human beings. The important thing is that science is not much to gain innovative
facts or discover new methods of thinking related to them. I think that similar this applies to
business and everyday work life as in this module, I have developed referencing and plagiarism,
types of academic writing and grammar, academic writing strategy, formatting and complexity in
writing, critical thinking and reading essentials as these all would help me for improving my
academic life and important skills for effective study.
In this module, I studied about various types of academic writing as it will help me for
performing research and publish in the one of the best journal. In this context I learnt about
referencing which allows for acknowledge the contribution of writers and researcher in work as
even it shows relevance of study because audience would always expect to backed up assertions
with multiple credible evidence. However, using evidence which does not origin through
credible information source which would not convince reader that claim is plausible or even
correct or not. Moreover, plagiarism is directly breach of academic integrity which is replicated
as principle of intellectual honesty that every member must acknowledge its debt to ideas of
originators of words, ideas and data which directly forms basis of their own work.
Furthermore, I have studied about grammar which is very important because it gives
information which directly leads to comprehension and its structure had conveyed me for precise

meaning through writer to particular audience. While, substituting grammatical errors through
writing and rewarding readers with clear communication. Simultaneously, I think that formatting
styles leads to great advantages to reader and writer as well. It has shown me different set of
principles or rules for following when writing allows to give concentration more on content of
work instead of appearance or readability of referencing information. Although critical thinking
has helped me for enhancing presentation and language skills as thinking systematically and
clearly improve method to express ideas. On basis of analysing, logical structure of texts, critical
thinking leads to improve comprehension abilities.
TASK 2
Future challenges and expectation of university course
In the present scenario, academic writing directly engages similar pattern of writing for
specific type of content. For example, each case study has continued to follow a set patterns such
as dissertations, assignments, essays and books every body has their own standards formats as
well. It has caused academic writings as very tedious as in this era, people are diverging through
this monotonous behaviour. From year 2017, there are various innovative trends in academic
writing and emerging with objective to modify this writing style. The most common is related to
alterations in personal life as life is actually something which happens while planning other plans
such as getting married, children and coping with caring responsibilities and would search for
method to up bring some control back into chaotic and messy time.
After consideration of personal life, this is most challenging aspect I feel that there must
be lack of access to resources as to be disconnected through sources of support such as
networking, career advice or professional development at particular time when it is highly
required at most. Rather, then finding themselves and cutting off through resources which is only
available in permanent roles. So, recreating those networks with absence of any affiliation to
official institution could be quite challenging and coaching could help jump-start that process.
In the similar aspect, lack of support from its supervisors might be huge challenge as
official relationship might be over but some will be keen for maintaining informal connection
with their supervisors. On the contrary, I have heard about misguided and mismatch of
expectation in case of well-intentioned advice. There are various supervisors who manage for
securing academic roles in friendlier economic climate with understanding facts and harsh reality
which are faced through students who are attempting to find academic jobs. Most common

challenge is on basis of time management as there is requirement of supporting to manage time
in better aspect with new situation. This indirectly seems to be highly feast or famine as they
would be juggling a part-time jobs, or cross country move or even might be unemployed.
Moreover, capability to generate academic publications would make or even destroy
someone's career , simple and plain. At the similar aspect, this is possibly one of the major
challenging point of being an academic as it is part of job or plan directly objected to get a job.
With this context, I have devoted my high coaching work to help people and to establish daily
writing practice in order for slaying some of the demons of writing (10 Common challenges
faced by early career researchers, 2019). After all these factors, the most challenging aspect in
academic writing is related to formulation of hypothesis and objective which are considered as
base of entire academic writing. In this context, data collection should be fully relevant and
updated and challenging point is time duration which leads to alteration in outcome because of
changing variables.
