Strategic enterprise planning
Strategic enterprises planning in an organization gives an effective experience to me
in the business strategic planning. I have my own experience in conducting and implementing
the strategic enterprises planning and the key challenges which were faced at various levels.
During my experimental research of the strategic enterprises planning, I have found that the
skill and capabilities of strategic process and will discuss about the how the issues will be
solve in data sourcing. I have also discussed about the decision making process and my point
of view in the same project (You, Vadakkepatt, & Joshi, 2015). I have found that my learning
about the challenges which are faced in an enterprise at various levels I came up with points.
I believe that for good working of an organisation it is necessary that all the goals and
objectives were clearly defined to all the employees. I also learned that to overcome with this
I want the organisation to see that project managers will keep in mind about the deadlines and
the planning and communication must be proper to all the employees. I want the team
members to be proper trained and skilled. If in some projects the team members are not
skilled and perfect for the task than to analyse their weakness training must be given for
proper implication of the project (Fan, Lau, & Zhao, 2015). I learned that for a smooth
functioning in an organisation it is necessary that there will be proper communication (Baker,
2016). By using the qualitative data collected by me in the observation, I found that the
managers of different departments like finance, marketing, operations and human resource
rather competing with one another work together to achieve the overall goal of the
organisation. I have also taken interviews with the stakeholders of the organization to get the
best ideas and for better activities to be perform CEO of the companies made the best
strategies and create goals for the betterment of the organisation. In the interview observation
technique, I learned that to proper strategic planning the resources were easily transfer and
the services, strategies and products were aligned in a systematic way (Ingram, et al. 2015).
In my viewpoint the strategic planning will be expenses for an organisation. As for this we
have to appoint a manager who plans all the process and proper implement have to be done. I
find this process complex as there are many steps which connected to one another and are
must be in a same order. It is not necessary that goals are achieved at every time. In my point
the poor implementation of strategies will lead to its failure (Dawes, Meyer-Waarden, &
Driesener, 2015). I find this process rigid due to the increasing complexities. As once the
planning is done and all action plans are set, than everyone have to follow the plan. No one
have right to change it. One the planning is done by the creativity than manager’s follows the
plan blindly. They do not change or plan according to the changing nature of the business.

Strategic enterprise planning
As I have learned that planning is cost consuming process. But for creative process,
professionals are hired for the job. It includes lots of research and collection of number. With
all this factors it becomes expensive for an organisation. In planning process we predict about
future and upcoming events in an industry. As it is not necessary that every time our
prediction will be accurate. So I think that it cannot be said that business planning lacks
accuracy (Shaw, 2016). The first group which I targeted in my interview reveals that
identifying who the stakeholders are. In my opinion I find that it is not easy to identify the
stakeholders as there are many stakeholders in a project. They are person who are involved in
the projects, their performance and interest affects the performance of the project. In some of
the interviews and observation technique I found that communication method is important to
meet the expectations of stakeholders. By using effective methods of communication they
will remain content. If there is any mistake than it may cause frustration and decrease the
confidence. It proves that you may not listen to them properly. I realize that stakeholders are
engaged with timely updates, they are always ready to ask the right question, to the right
people, and at the right time. I know that decision making is an important procedure in any
project by letting it to perform by stakeholder will let them to feel that they are involved in
the functioning of an organisation (Peter, Olson, & Grunert, 2019). In my data gathering
technique, I found that making the copies of same records of data is becomes computation
and storage error. By keeping it several times it may occur human error by using the data
multiple times. To overcome with this issue that data duplication must be suggested. I find
that by using the data many times but sometimes it does not entered in the system correctly or
some files may get corrupted than it results in incomplete data. I learned that due to
inconsistent formats, it becomes difficult for system to analyse the information and it may get
incorrect. During my visit in organization, learned that every organisation must see that there
must be upgraded as many time the hardware’s are not updated and it may lead in corrupt or
lost files (Naik, Raman, & Winer, 2015). I analysed that it is the issue to reduce time horizon
for decisions. An organisation must take smaller steps to build a bridge for future. I find that
learning should never be stop at any point. We must learn about various aspects as knowledge
about the particular point will help you in decision making. I learned that if the economic
conditions are not in control than we must stop our self from creating debts. I opt for one
decision at one time. If there are multiple decisions that it can create confusion and it will
increase the stress in the organisation. I believe that we must know the risk factor. We should
always be determined and will have no fear of loss in any condition (Kotler, & Roberto,
2019). I also analysed some of the Skill and capabilities which are created in the strategic

process. I find that firstly we have to examine that what are the capabilities, skills, liabilities,
strengths and weakness. We can perform the SWOT analyse to know all these aspects which
will help in achieving the goals and will help in analysing the competitors in the market. I
want to understand how the organisation will fit in the internal and external environment. I
want to develop new projects and think about new ideas to meet the goals. I must find the
opportunity and threats which will help in the functioning and meeting the needs. It is the
final stage; it will help in identifying the best project that we can run. By looking in first stage
identify the best option and choose to meet the desired goals (Ailawadi, Lehmann, & Neslin,
2011).
If I had a similar task I will see that there will be proper planning from step one in an
organisation. The execution of plan is in a proper order, no one will overlap one another. I
must see that there will no issue occurs which in other ways break the project. By looking at
the advantages and disadvantages I will find that the best will be used in meeting up the
goals. I must keep in mind the skill and capabilities and will see that the decisions will be
given properly. The communication will be in an effective manner and there will be no miss
conduct between employees. I will see that employees must know about all the rules and the
contract. The data which is prepared will be prepared with less error and proper backups were
to be taken. I will define the limitations of business planning and will come up with best
aspects for best functioning. I will see that the process must go in a fluent way and there were
no obstacle occurs (Shoham, 2016).
From this report it is concluded that strategic process in an organisation will help it in
achieving its desired goals. By discussing about all the challenges we will know about the
best ways of using it. The advantages and disadvantages will help us to learn about what we
must opt and limitation will make us to understand there where we are low in the functioning.
The decision making will make us to understand that what the best way to achieve the goals
is. From this we have understood that proper planning and strategic process are important for
the functioning of an organisation.
