Need for responsible leadership
• Due to the era of increasing
dynamics and complexity in the
business environment, the global
operation of the business has
become more complex and
uncertain. It comprises of
different legislations, beliefs, and
lifestyle which in turn creates the
challenge such as global warming
and mitigation, the pressure of
governments, increasing
inequality and misconduct at
business (Dubrin, 2015).

Traits and Skills of responsible leaders
• Responsible leaders are the
one who has the ability to
inspire the employees
towards the positive change
and possess the capability to
make ethical judgments. In
response to the above, the
responsible leaders have the
traits of effectively
communicating with all the
stakeholders and take
responsibility for their actions
(Moody-Stuart, 2017).

Responsibilities of responsible leader
• The main responsibility of such leaders is to take
ethical judgments after analyzing the regulations
and norms in the global business environment. It
focuses on maintaining the interest of all the
stakeholders and takes the decisions that benefit
the society and the environment.

Impact of responsible leadership on stakeholders
• Due to increasing managerial
misconduct and corporate
scandals, the ethics and
responsibilities of a leader is a
major concern. The other
theories of leadership like
transformational, servant,
charismatic focuses on
improving employee motivation
and do not consider the interest
of the external stakeholders.

Culture of organization
• Through the implementation
of the responsible leadership
theory the leader's inbuilt
positive organizational culture
where the team members
collaborate their efforts and
collectively solve the problem
in an organization. It aids in
developing the organizational
culture that embraces
continuous change and drives
innovation in the organization
