Question 1:
Analytics skills: During my internship I was able to apply machine learning techniques,
statistics, mathematics, and predictive modeling to find out useful knowledge and patterns in
recorded data.
Information security skills: I was able to select, design, justify, implement, operate control and
manage strategies to preserve integrity, security, availability, accountability, confidentiality of
information systems in the company. I adhered to various information security legislation
regulations and other relevant standards in the organization (SFIA Foundation, 2018).
Data visualization skills: I demonstrated my abilities to interpret ideas, facts, and concepts by
use of graphical representations. I was able to condense and encapsulate data characteristics,
making it easier to discover opportunities, evaluate trends, enable efficient decision making, and
identify risks (SFIA Foundation, 2018).
I will incorporate the above skills in my CV by matching my current experiences to the Skills
Framework for the Information Age (SFIA) level required in my targeted organization. I will
also use SFIA’s terminologies and phrases on my resume in order to demonstrate self-awareness
and that I am carefully thinking about my suitability for the available vacancy (SFIA Foundation,
2018).
You should write about ½ to 1 page.

Question 2
I have learnt quite a lot about SFIA Framework and its tools and therefore I have decided to
change my CV according to SFIA. By use of this framework, I will be in a position to
specifically highlight both my technical and non-technical skills. Besides, I will able to outline
my professional accomplishments and what I gained during my classroom studies and previous
work experiences. I am also considering improving my cover letter since it is not good enough to
please employers of any organization. My current cover letter contains several errors which I am
thinking of correcting in accordance to SFIA. I have learnt how useful and important my cover
letter is and I will develop it because in my point of view, it gives me a chance to present self to
my potential employers. I will only outline only those pertinent skills deemed very useful to the
available position (Australian Computer Society, 2013). I will avoid listing irrelevant skills
which might add no advantage and/or increase chances of me getting me internship or permanent
job opportunities.
