When completing a risk assessment, five major goals need to be covered. They are:

Q2: What steps are involved in a risk assessment according to your organisation’s
procedures?
In the organization, which is a small hotel, the steps taken in risk assessment are:
a. Identifying the hazards-possible types of hazards, e.g.
a. Burns
b. Lifting/pushing/pulling/handling of equipments
c. Handling sharp objects and power equipment
d. Repetitive work and awkward positions etc.

In current setup, not only the staff supervisor or manager conducts the risk assessment. It is
also conducted by any employee or WHS representative.
