INTRODUCTION
Personal development is undertaken as the ongoing action for examining its life goals and values
and develops person’s skills & qualities in order to reach its potential. Additionally, it
incorporates activities that develops an individuals’ capabilities as well as potential, forming
human capital, facilitates job & enhance life quality as well as realisation of dreams as well as
aspirations. In addition to this, it assists for individuals to describe their personal vision & life
objectives into clear manner. The main aim of this report is to develop the personal development
portfolio which understands the effectualness of both professional & academic skills for their
career within business management. For instance, few aspects which are going to highlighted
into this report are self reflection upon personal learning & development, personal development
learning log and action plan. Apart from this CV is also provided in this report.
MAIN BODY
1.0 Self-reflection on personal learning and development, and the transferable skills.
Self- reflection is regarded as the crucial aspect activities. Additionally, it aids individuals for
determining what skills they needs for improving, what objectives it expects for meeting as well
as what they are conducting into much efficacious way. Moreover, for whole person this is
crucial for performing that practices which would assists them into personal learning,
improvement and developing transferable skills. Therefore, at the time of business management
study as well as their professional practices I have to foster a various challenges and enhance
various opportunities. Creative & innovative thinking and though which are essential for
studying the business management. There are also another prospects such as balancing with part
of academics, learning team works that aids in studying & practicing business management.
Also, while learning into business management I determined that academic & professional skills
are much essential. As academic skills are vital as it facilitates efficacious skills which develops
individuals much efficient. This also fosters innovation and confidence factors in them. It
permits individuals for being confident while communicating in to English language. Where as
professional skills are needed to provide higher performance level within work areas which
outcomes in attaining the organisational gaols and brings personal development. This flourish
work atmosphere and enhance staff attitudes. Therefore, by SWOT analysis I understand that my
both skills are weak.

1.1 Identification and reflection on my approach to personal learning and development.
While improving my personal learning & development, I found that there are several challenges
that comes in my career paths. Additionally, the crucial issues is communication gaps as my
communication skills are not so effective, it affects my career. The other aspect is lower
performance level while performing upon any firms and so on. Therefore, while conducting my
SWOT analysis through that I have described my strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and
threats within marketplace as well as entities into kind of SWOT. My strengths are my
communication skills knowledge, managerial skills, analytical skills and others. Also, identified
some weaknesses such as time management skills, team working skills, lack of consistency and
many more. My opportunities are that firms required specialised into technical skills, online
marketing demand and so on. The several marketing professionals, higher competitive
marketplace, and others are some threats.
1.2 Identification of the transferable skills I have already developed by attending this module.
Transferable skills are generally that competencies which may utilise by individuals into each
job profile through not concentrating upon specific areas. Few transferable skills are tough into
nature that incorporates technical skills, data analysis and so on. While few are soft in nature that
involves team work, time management and others. In addition to this, all transferable skills are
vital for me for performing effectually into any areas. Through improving these competencies I
may efficiently utilised into my further job for becoming the valuable staff for upcoming
employment opportunities. Moreover, these are desirable into all firm because of that employers
which do not needs facilitating training to them. It involves several skills like communication,
rsisk taking, team working, and many more. These assists me in performing my activities into
much efficient way through collaborating with my group effectively and effectually in order to
accomplish the task upon time and aids entity for attaining its career objectives in efficacious
way. These would be much vital for me in developing and boosting my career. It aids in
representing to my employers as I am much versatile and adaptable to perform my activities in
appropriate manner to attain the career objectives. These competencies are not only useful into
my professional career also for my both professional & personal life. It would aids me in making
career changes in case I am not much comfortable into present career life.

Transferable skills are much essential competencies that aids in performing any job in effective
way. Moreover, there are various transferable skills I would improve during my academic
studies, personal life and work area for conducting my activities effectively. These would occurs
time management skills, team work skills and others. These would aids me in making my
professional and academic career much effectual for performing my activities in efficacious way.
Team working skills allows me to learn how I may effectually conduct my activities through
