Knowledge has two components content and skills which are interrelated. These skills are
achieved on the basis of content in order to acquire information. In digital age, these are playing
essential role and for a person require to have professional skills that allows to sort out the
challenges that faced by them efficiently (Baym, 2015). To retain long time in digital world
require to have professional skills which is lined with the development of understanding that
supports in career development as well as growth. Advanced technology can be implemented in
a business entity so all the business activities can be done according to requirement. The present
report is based on the social media impact on the internet in positive and negative way. Along
with challenges and measures for security & privacy and provide examples of two social media
with features & applications.

Social media is the collective of online communication channels dedicated to community
depended input, action, content sharing and correlation. It is used by business and individuals to
engage with market people as well as target customer to develop own brand, enhance sales and
drive website traffic. In this consisting of publishing great content on the social media
application, chat with each other, link with followers and many others. Social media related with
internet, which is a worldwide system of computer networks in which users connect with each
other from one country to another country. The activities of social media impact on the internet
in positive as well as negative manner which is discussed below:
Positive aspects of social media on internet Allow for speedy communication: Time is being flexible thinner and thinner by work
and family commitments. This time social media sites provide a opportunity to
communicate about different topics efficiently (Mills, 2015). In present time social
networks become strong and helpful for fast communication and share information
among large number of people. At social media have different application which is used
by people for different things and sharing features helps in making group with similar
interest and like mind. So it impact on the internet in positive manner because people
connect with each other through social sites that are operated through internet.

New business opportunity: In present time social media activities increase rapidly
because of huge usage of internet. Through different application people get new idea for
business and online start all the business activities. New business can advertise about
their business and design customise websites that are made on such social media
applications. It provides different advantages to business to connect large number of
people and use this marketing method that reduce cost of business (Rogers, 2016).
Education: Social media has a lot of benefits for the students as well teachers. Current
time education become a way to enhance skills in particular area. Social media provide a
platform to teacher and student where they meet with each other get education from
experts and professionals. They can follow anyone to learn from and increase knowledge
in regard of field. So without any problem students clear their doubts and increase
knowledge for further studies.
As per the above discussion it s getting that social media impact in positive manner on
internet and help in increasing user of internet and connect people with each other.
Negative aspects of social media on internet Spreading untrue information: Social media a sharing platform where people share
every type of information some are based on real basis situation and some are rumours
that impact on the individual life. The cry of fake news has become commonplace and
consumer confidence in even traditional media outlets has been importantly decay.
Regrettably, wrong and confusing online information can harm to people and
organisation's brand, goodwill, upset even loyal customers. Online bullying: In present time social media sites use by the people at broad manner
that leads to motivated of criminal activities as people having same interest. At this
platform they meet with each other and leads their wrongful acts. These activities impact
on the people in physical and mental way and become serious matter. So Social media
use by people in wrong manner but people blame to internet for these things. Also, fake
rumours which spread due to such social media sites and it become reason to government
forced to stop internet connectivity (Huda and et. al., 2017).
Mental health: Many mental health professionals are deeply afraid about the affect of
social media has on mental health. Some experts says that constant distraction of social
media make efforts to shortened attention spans. Furthermore, many people who

active in these social media sites. This a possible consequences that can arise at the social
media platforms due to have different views and jokes. Now a days face many cases at
social media that occur due to assorted social media activities. Many peoples share fake
new to humiliate any person and it impact on their mental and health condition. As a
result they suffer serious condition. Financial disclosure: In big and success organisation are working different types of
people who have access to collect information about company. They are using these
information for personal work and share with competitors to achieve rewards. Sue to
company active on social media sites so it shows impact on share market price (Flewitt,
Messer and Kucirkova, 2015). Violation of compliance: When people connected at the social media sites so face many

who are using social media like marketing tool. Isolation: The online activities become reason of reduce relation in face to face

new people. They don't care about those people who live around of us. This leads to a
condition of isolation of different individuals who are processing only social media to
make new friends. Many people have online friends but have not any offline friend.
Therefore, different reason have shown that how to people face these challenges due to
more usage of social media sites (Ellaway and et. al., 2015).
Addiction: Most of people use different types of social media application to meet
different types of people. Student conduct study & research on these sites that impact on
the mentality and addict for networking sites. Thus, it become part of daily life and spend
more time on these sites and always active on this network. As a result it impact on the
mentality as well as productivity to lead social sites.

In present time at social media sites face different challenges in regard of social media
sites and it impact on the people as well as business who are using these sites as mentioned
below: Private Account: To measure the security of a personal or private account require to set
some security things to access account. A private account handle by that person who have

person allowing it. It means that a particular person can be added in the list without
approval and no share information that can take place. Security technology: In present time people use different types of security technology in
order to aware from the challenges that arise any time. It is required to to use some

sign up with particular name for free profiles. At this site connect with friends, relatives
and share information. Even there are connecting with those peoples live into other
country and share their views and opinions with however many people they like (Huda
and Teh, 2018).
