“Are Social Networking Sites Good for Our Society”?
From reading the article I have developed an understanding that social networking sites are
perceived as both sources of information and distraction for the young generations and older
around the globe. I believe that social networking sites are informative and essential sources in
the contemporary and dynamic environment of the globe. Social networking sites provide with
opportunities to connect and interact with the society and the other members. It is also a platform
to discuss social issues and generate awareness about these problems in an effective manner
towards the society.
The application of social media and networking sites in a truthful and effective manner is a
decision of the user. It may spread unreliable and false information at a faster pace but also
restricts the situations of ambiguity in society by acting as a medium of information.
Communicating and interacting through social networking sites and providing with personal
information is also the discretion of the users. The users are informed about the options available
in order to secure the private details and data shared. Simultaneously misuse of information is
often reported with hacking and invading the privacy of users. Social media is a platform to
communicate and interact where time allocation must be monitored by the users themselves. It
does not encourage deflecting from personal, educational or professional objectives.
Biasness has been observed with no recognition of the fact that social media is a technological
platform which can be controlled and monitored by users in order to perceive the privacy and
resources of time.

Your post was very interesting and informative to read. I reckon from your readings that you
personally preferred wearing school uniforms as it provides a medium of spreading equality and
justice in the society and the kids. I acknowledge your thought of identifying it as a medium of
eradicating social and economic barriers from the culture of the school and instilling a sense of
discipline amongst the students. But I also believe that it restricts the sense of freedom and
liberty provide to students by defining the way they dress and attend schools. It must be
acknowledged that the students are required to learn and witness the fact that not all the students
and children belong to the same financial and economic state of the society. Each person belongs
to a different setting and atmosphere so it is essential to analyze that differences. It also instills a
set of learning the differences and acknowledges them in an effective manner. Children are
provided with an understanding that differences are a part and parcel of life.
