Introduction
I am considering myself as a product in an organization where the venture will consider
upon my personal strengths and weaknesses for including me in their business model. The
discussion will examine my mission, vision, strategic exposition and leadership approach with
the objective of making the organization aware of the vale that I will contribute to the venture.
Industry life cycle
The industry lifecycle constitutes of five stages referred as introduction, growth,
shakeout, maturity and decline. The introduction phase focused on developing an idea of the
product initiation stage where people or communities have lower knowledge on the product
(Kjaer et al. 2016). The growth phase denoted the attraction of a larger base of the market
towards the value that is being proposed through the product. The shakeout stage critically
examined the elimination related activities due to incompatibility of the product with the
community or the people. The maturity stage inhibits the steady market growth and promotions
of the product. The decline phase determines the extermination of the product from the market
due to its irrelevance to the demand.
The study of the phases enabled me in identifying my position as a product in the
consultant industry. I have been working in an organization as a business analyst for the last two
years. I believe that I belong to the growth phase as I have already been introduced to the sector
in my previous job where I learnt lessons on professionalism and my field of operations. The
growth phase is critically a phase where I presume that my performance is being recorded and
every day I am required to prove myself with the objective of retaining the loyalty and trust of
the management. Therefore, I believe that I am in a risky position of proving my value to the

corporate management and the manner in which I would contribute to their competitive edge for
being accepted under the organization.

Vision
I aspire to become the CEO of an organization based on my diverse field of knowledge
on the different business processes and growth options. Knowledge of market position and
business processes would enable me in leading efficient functioning of the different systems in a
business. Moreover, my knowledge as a business analyst would enable me in developing the
state of an organization as I am aware of the changes that are being undertaken by organizations
in the industries along with their weaknesses. Sotarauta (2016) stated that the knowledge of
weaknesses over the strengths of the competitors enables a business leader in improving the
current operations of a venture. Therefore, I believe myself fit for the job of a CEO due to my
vivid knowledge on the weaknesses of the organizations and the steps that might be taken to gain
a competitive edge over the same.
Mission
My mission is to sustain myself in the shakeout phase through the development of my
weak areas. Sustaining myself in the job profile is perhaps the topmost priority for me as it will
enable me to grow and mature in the sector.
Strategy
I would like to develop my communication skills through increasing interactions with my
peers. The interactions would enable me in maximizing my scope of understanding the issues

that are being faced by the same. The interactions would not only assist me in improving my
collaboration with my peers but also permit me in developing the performance of the teams and
subordinates. Better communication would also enable me in holding negotiation and meetings
with the workforce and my subordinates, if I am to be considered as the CEO of an organization.
On the other hand, the strategic communication based practices with the technicians and experts
would also support me in inheriting knowledge on the technological developments and thereby
overcome the barriers to my career development.

I believe that I am a Cash Cow for any organization as I am well aware of the market
structure and the definite changes that might be initiated by the organizations to stay competitive.
It would not only help me or my company in developing a lion share in the markets but also
permit in developing a competitive position of the venture among the existing players. On the
other hand, I am a Star being a loyal and trustworthy workaholic person for which I believe that
I deserve a better competitive position in a business over the peers or my competitors. My
determination and dedication towards work would contribute to the smooth functioning and
growth of the organization in the intensely competitive markets. However, the lack of proficient
communication is perhaps a negative point in me, relating to Dog in the BCG. However, I am
trying to overcome the barriers of introverted attitude with the objective of collaborating with the
workforce while developing the resource and capabilities of the same. The lack of patience and
aggressive towards meeting the targets as per the common goal might be treated as Question
marks as I am still confused whether it would assist me in the organizational case or would
simply bring forth a declining trend in the organizational performance.

Leadership style
I believe in the transformational leadership style as I try to keep the existing models and
frameworks in the businesses while bringing forth modifications through collaboration with the
management and the workforce. The transformational leaders play a major role in improving the
organizational situation while implementing the existing culture and values of the organization in
the organizational processes (Volz-Peacock, Carson and Marquardt 2016). Therefore, I believe
in slow and steady change which is acceptable by the workforce.
However, in adverse situations I believe I grow excited and undertake aggressive
decision making which might affect my capability of improving the outcome of the decisions.
On the other hand, my superior knowledge on the market situation and the creative vision would

enable me in sustaining the operations of an organization as per the needs of maintaining the
sustenance of the organization. Bird and Mendenhall (2016) stated that the efficient decision
making skills of a leader is reliant on the market based knowledge and the perception of change
that might be initiated by the same for improving the position of the venture. In this relation, I
believe that my prior knowledge on market and business structures as a business analyst would
support me in improving the change procedures in the venture.
On the other hand, my knowledge of change and creativity would enable me in
improving my decision making skills. Moreover, I am a critical thinker and a person who
believes in the rationality for an activity, which would empower my decision making capabilities
while operating in the different organizational situations. However, lack of professional
communication skills might restrict my capabilities of inducing collaboration in the workforce.
Jiang and Men (2017) noted that the communication skills of a leader enables the same in
making the stakeholders aware of the idea and encouraging the same to get involved in the
change process. Therefore, I believe that I must develop my communication skills with the
objective of improving my leadership quotient apart from all my virtues.
CSR and ethical views
Training and equality of rights in organizational context: I believe in equality of rights
and right to knowledge of every individual in an organization. I believe that being the
company’s CEO my first priority should be the employees and the manner in which their
skills might be improved through vocational training and development programs. I would
like to promote educational campaigns which will make the employees aware of their
state of being and their job responsibilities vividly. Again, I would like to create systems

for equal employment for inducing workplace diversity while providing equality based
rights to people irrespective of gender castes and creeds.
Environmental and community sustenance: I would also like to develop community and
environmental sustenance related operations through relief funding. It would help my
employer’s organization in increasing the brand image and awareness among the
communities while adhering to the environmental laws and legislations.
Executing strategy
Consultation and collaboration with the stakeholders: I would like to collaborate and
communicate with the different stakeholders with the objective of encouraging inclusion
in the different organizational processes. The transparency of communication with the
board members and the stakeholders would enable me in encouraging their involvement
and change readiness.
Implementation: The implementation process is a vast process which includes the
assessment of the resource and capabilities of the organization based on the strategic
needs of the venture. Therefore, I would assess the strategic capabilities of the
organization and the feasibility of the change through consultation with the stakeholders
and allocating resource for safe and successful implementation of the change in the
organizational model.

Assessment of the international markets: In the international markets I would play a
proficient role in identifying the situation of the businesses and providing
recommendations on the basis of my prior experience. I would take the initiative of
examining the political, economic, social, technological and cultural aspects of the
international markets and thereby correlate my value proposition and capabilities model
with the objective of being compatible with the business.
Examination of the geographic advantages: My adaptability of different business
environments and knowledge on the business procedures would help me in fetching
geographic advantages. On the other hand, my knowledge on the cultural affinities and
the language proficiency would support me in working as an expatriate for my employer
organization. Again, favorable trade relations and business growth based knowledge
would support my employer’s organization to grow in different geographic locations. .

Market selection: My critical thinking and decision making capabilities while choosing
the correct alternative would enable the organization in improving their expansion
process through innovativeness. On the other hand, my knowledge on different market
structures would enable the ventures in retaining the developmental values.
Mode of entry: The selection of the mode of entry would be based on the nature of the
economy and the issues that might be faced by the organization while entering the market
region. Therefore, I would contribute to my employer’s organization by sharing my
knowledge on the business situations and enable them in determining the mode of entry
while overcoming the barriers through my uniqueness.
