Fit/Gap Analysis
Every ERP system consists its own pros and cons which are important for the system of
SDC Australia. Every ERP system consists different modules to supervise different parts of the
enterprise. As a matter, every ERP system has important aspects offering beneficial growth to
specific parts of the company to improve the efficiency of the enterprise (Chong 2014).
However, different ERP systems, having the same objective of providing best solution to the
company, yet each of them emphasize on different modules to achieve to that.
Within a pocket friendly budget Microsoft Dynamics ERP, system offers advantages,
which are proved beneficial for small to medium size enterprises like Supreme Dry Cleaners,
Australia. The ERP system is highly scalable which means this provides enough space to the
enterprise for future changes and expanses. For companies like SDC, which preferred manual
data collection and storage, Microsoft Dynamic ERP system is the best solution for data storage,
auto correction and many other facilities (Mutongwa and Rabah 2013). The auto recurring
modules, business planning and expansion modules, finance and performance factor analysis
module are quite highly praised for meeting expectations. Also easy implementation of
Microsoft products is beneficial for any enterprise.

Unlike the earlier one, the Odoo ERP system offers better solution of human resource
management for employees, customer management (Handayani, Hidayanto and Budi 2013).
Besides these, Odoo systems offer better solutions for handling finance, accounting as well as e-
commerce expansion. The moto of Odoo ERP System is to provide integrity to the enterprise.
However, Odoo system lags in documentation support and bugs control system as the system is
not maintained regularly.

Saga ERP system also provides all the benefits of Odoo Systems besides providing
intelligent solutions for future expansion. Saga ERP system provides different blocks for
customer care, product analysis, manufacturing analysis management, storage management,
different sales and marketing department (Seethamraju 2013). These blocks are interconnected to
build an overall intelligent solution to keep a space for future expansion. The system is flexible
enough to be implemented for reaching the company goals within a specific time-period besides
improving future scope of improvement. Saga ERP system lags in maintaining proper customer
care system, which is a huge reason, why the system is not so popular.
The Oracle NetSuite ERP system targets increment in the efficiency of the overall
enterprise. This is why the modules of Oracle NetSuite ERP system are like the production
management block, the warehouse and storage management, finance and accountancy
management, marketing and sales management, production and supply management. The system
is robust and helpful for small enterprises to grow. However, the system lacks in provision of
future expansion. However, NetSuite ERP system has a problem of complexity in handling and
bad customer reputations. The system does not provide any solution for better customer service
and irregular up gradation.

The Deltek ERP system includes business performance with other modules of an
enterprise, which is helpful in analyzing and assessing the current scenario of the business and
future possibilities. All the modules like production management, finance management are
designed in such a way to improve the productivity of the enterprise (Venkatraman and Fahd
2016). Deltek offers quite a good solution for small to medium enterprises; however, some users
do believe that changing the screen of the system software is helpful in managing the overall
system. This is quite a minor short-come of the system compared to the high-end solutions.

Recommendation
Installing an appropriate ERP system is definitely the solution of improves the flow of
operation in an enterprise like Supreme Dry Cleaners but also it will help in expanding their
businesses. Starting from better customer handling to data management, finance planning and
implementing productive ideas to improve the service all can be done using a proper ERP system
(Haddara 2014). Automation in data collection and storing is a major criterion for SDC as they
are facing problem with customer data storage and providing service at the same time. An

automatic system of collecting and storing data and use them every time a regular customer visits
the store is important for SDC. On the other hand, they are also looking to expand in different
parts of Australia for which a strong business planning is important. An intelligent ERP system
like Deltek ERP system or Microsoft Dynamic ERP system is the best solution for Supreme Dry
Cleaners. Such ERP systems provide perfect solution for data storing, automatic up gradation
and financial and business planning to expand the market. In addition to these, the later one is
also supported by different products of Microsoft, which are helpful for any enterprise for
documentation.
