and more are included in project plan. This plan is helpful in attaining predefined objectives of
projects in an efficient manner. Different elements of project plan are given as under:
Cost: In this, cost which incurred during overall project is considered in an effective
manner. With this, researcher get to know overall cost of project that is vital to keep appropriate
control over it. By this way, investigator will be able to complete project in minimum possible
cost and will earn adequate profit margin. Expenses that have been incurred for current project
are mentioned below:
Particular Amount 2019-20 ( $)
Equipment cost 7000
Researcher’s Salary 6000
Travelling cost 4500

quality at each and every step. For this, they should gather information merely from reliable an
authentic sources that is imperative for success of overall project.

information. So, they need to anticipate regarding future uncertainties in order to prepare
effective strategies.
Resources: While performing research, there are a lot of resources required such as
equipments, tools, human resources, funds and more. So, investigator needs to analyze
requirement of resources and then make necessary arrangements to get those resources in timely
manner. Therefore, these resources will aid researcher to attain predefined objectives in
stipulated period of time.
WBS and Gantt Chart for determining time frame and stages of completion
Before undertake a research project, it is imperative to decide time period that will be
required to complete the project. With this, researcher can arrange different activities in an
effective manner. Apart from this, it will help to determine deadlines for different activities
assigned to all individuals who are engaged in project. So, they also stay motivated to complete
project in predefined period of time. There are a lot of tools and techniques such as WBS, Gantt
charts are used for this purpose. These tools are mentioned as under:
Document Page
Work Break Down structure (WBS)
Under this technique, whole project is divided in small components so that complexities
of project can be reduced. These smaller tasks are assigned to team members to attain predefined
project objectives in stipulated period of time. By this way, managers can complete whole
project within minimum time and complexities. For this purpose, managers divide entire project
in manageable task with an aim to provide clarity to team members and alien their efforts in right

WBS major activities are break down into sub activities. So, managers need to analyze structure
and activities in timely manner so and undertake necessary changes as per requirement. They

makes it easy to understand deadlines, activities as well as role of responsible person so that
project can be completed in timely manner. Gantt chart for present project is mentioned below:
TASK 2
Produce small scale research applying primary and secondary methods
Research methodology
It is the activity of use of methods to regulate the data about the research. It is based in
the systematic form that is connected with the individual form of supposition utilised for
arranging study. The research has been arranged to search out the key issues and the use of
technical information in the production of occupation in few nations. There are two forms of
research methods that are as under:
Document Page
Qualitative method- It is a theoretical research method of assembling data that is
monitoring of collecting information in non-statistical data of focused theory, proposals and
inspiration. It is a highly successful process to recommend potential ingredients, origin,
efficiency and energetic action as well as its observation is comprehensible in simple structure
due to illustrative tool. It consumes more time and cost cause of gathering of immense data,
deciding and defining them becomes a very long procedure.
Quantitative method- The data which is collected by this research method is in form of
numerical, graphs, bars, tables and statistics. The tools which are considered to collect data are
pools, questionnaire, research, telephonic survey and feedback etc (Rodrigues and Rosa, 2019).
It assembles reliable information in easier type by research and beneficial for testing and drawing
ideas. As needful and less data the execution of numerical research may influence unfavourably
to calculate or research information cause of the huge specimen size needed for effective data.
From the above information, it has been analysed that for the completion of this research
in effective manner, the investigator can use quantitative research method. With the assistance of
this technique, researcher can get concise, pure, deep and brief information which can be
productive to accomplish analysis points and purposes.
Data collection tools
Primary source- With the help of this data collection tool, the researcher can assemble
fresh and first hand information by making direct contact and discussion. There are different
tools like group discussion, interview, questionnaire and survey etc. through which researchers
can gather reliable and appropriate data.
Secondary source- With the help of this method, the researcher collects second hand
information which is already accessible in the market. There are several tools like government
sites, journals, books, articles, internal records of company, websites and magazines etc. through
which information can be collected by the researcher (Sahu and Singh, 2016).

because it is beneficial to assemble sufficient information form a selected sample of responders.
In current research, the surveyor will use survey as a research tool.
Document Page

small size population from a large unit of people. It supports the researcher to assemble reliable
and precise information to accomplish the survey. In this study, the researcher chooses a size of
30 representatives from employees of respective organisation and considers simple random
sampling method.
Questionnaire- It demonstrates as a written document that contains a series of questions
or a span of queries to collect clear data from its focused and selected amount of individuals. It is
a significant tool because by carrying out this technique, the surveyor can immediately contact
and react with individual and gather reliable information according the need.
