The paper is focused on evaluating the impact of technology on society as well as industry. In
the 21st century, technology has become a key requirement for people living and working in the world.
Hence, the use of technology in an ethical way is also mandatory so that the bad impacts of the
technology can be easily avoided and positive efforts can be used in favour of society and industry.
With the help of this research, and identification of the key effects of technology on society and thereby
industry will be done while covering both positive and negative impacts. Furthermore, after identifying
the key impact of technology, the discussion is going to include challenges faced by people while using
modern technologies so that these challenges can be addressed well. Moreover, the paper will include
how technology has evolved society's life and industrial working during the past decade. Finally, some
key suggestions as recommendations will be provided based on the above conducted research in this
paper. Besides, the research paper will provide a concise summary at the end of the discussion so that
readers can get a conclusion of the chosen research question.

Background
This research is going to assess the key impacts of technology on society and industry. In this era,
technology has become the basic need of people living in the society as well as working in modern
industries. Technological innovation has evolved both in society and industry. The technology has both
pros and cons for the society and industry both, thus the research is going to focus on both aspects of
technology in the contemporary world 1. It is worth knowing that the most significant impact of
technology is greater productivity in terms of daily life and daily professional life as well. A
quantitative increase is by technology that can be seen as more production at less cost. In this way, this
paper is going to research how the benefit of technology spreads throughout society and industries in
this modern world 2.
In addition to that, digital structures are recasting the relationships among clients, employees, and
employers, because the silicon chip attains, permeates nearly the whole thing we do; from shopping for
groceries online to finding a partner on a dating website. As the power of computing will improve
dramatically and more and more human beings are participating within the digital economic system, we
have to assume carefully approximately how to plan policies with the intention to permit us to
completely take advantage of the virtual revolution’s advantages even as minimizing process
dislocation 3.
On the other hand, technology society and lifestyles or generation and subculture refer to dependency
co-dependence, co-have an impact on, and co-production of generation and society upon the other. This
synergistic relationship befell from the sunrise of humankind, with the discovery of easy tools and
maintains into modern technology inclusive of the printing press and computer systems. In addition to
that, the instructional field reading the impacts of technological know-how, technology, and society,
and is called science and generation studies 4.
Purpose
In this era of technological advancement, it has become essential to evaluate the role of technology in
society as right and ethical use is important for positive outcomes. Thus, the purpose of this research is
to demonstrate the role as well as the impacts of technology in the context of modern industries and
societies.

Rationale
The reason for conducting this research is to find the consequences of using technology largely in
societies and industries. These consequences can be both positive and negative and will allow us to
realize the importance of human efforts in front of technology.

On the other hand, the central research question is to find advantages, disadvantages, and challenges of

descriptive and many more. The proposed research is based on a descriptive research methodology. In
general, descriptive research is often utilized to describe the characteristics of a population or process
being studied. It is worth knowing that this research method does not answer questions about
how/when/why the characteristics occurred but it will focus on ‘what’ of the research subject 6.
Research Design
There is a key difference amid research methodology and research design as a research methodology is
only a component of research design. On the other hand, it can be said that research design typically
covers the whole research which is about to carry out 7. Apart from this, research methodology
involves data collection methods for carryout the whole research. Therefore, the research design of this
research can be seen as the plan for a research study. In this context, the research design suggests that a
literature survey will be done for assessing the key impact of technology on society and industry 8.

This research is a great contribution towards sustainability and innovation-based processes to make life
easier and simpler 9. It is because by evaluating both aspects of technology, this paper is going to
demonstrate the key challenges of using technology in modern society and industry 10. This research
has a great contribution towards encouraging the correct use of technology among society people. In
general, when technology has so many important effects on industrial as well as business operations; it
also has some bad impacts like dependency, cost, and others 5. Moreover, studying the key impacts of

technology always has both tangible as well as intangible benefits which can help an individual making

Apart from this, the research will also present proposed solutions and future recommendations for
using technology in a correct, efficient and ethical way so that technological infrastructure can affect
the culture, efficiency, and relationships of contemporary society as well as business. To know the core
nature of technology while assessing the pros and cons in relation to society is required for the
sustainable future of the earth and the people living here 9. From the industrial perspective, this
research will be helpful to expand the horizons in any field and thereby achieve better outcomes in
