corporate social responsibility. The plan includes discussing the research approach and the
secondary data sources that will be used to resolve the issue through strategy development.

The issue identified at TOMS the need to develop and evolve strategic corporate social
responsibility. TOMS is a high-end fashion retail brand in Australia established in the year 2006.
The company has grown and developed the business in different sectors since its incorporation
by Blake Mycoskie. The business develops a product such as shoes, clothing, eyewear, coffee
and shirts. The business has observed an issue for a growing need to develop corporate social
responsibility in order to develop for a strategic and corporate image of the business. The
business has observed (Saunders & Lewis, 2012). Corporate social responsibility has been
identified as the need of the hour for the transactional business entities in the contemporary
business environment. The issue TOMS is observing related to increased competition business is
facing the field of social work and embarking a social presence of the business in the global and
local business atmosphere. The issues have imparted the consumer base, development of target
market and profitability of the business in a global business environment. The issue can be
identified in the field of public relations and management. Corporate social responsibility is
undertaken in order to develop an effective and cordial social relationship.

In order to conduct research to identify the issue in the business organization, a secondary
research analysis will be undertaken. A secondary research analysis is required in order to gather
