This management report is about Travelodge’s employability skills. This report covers the
corporate travel manager’s responsibilities and key performance objectives. Quality performance
improvements motivational techniques have been reviewed. The employability skills help the
organization in getting work done efficiently in MNC. Identification is made of the two problems
which Travelodge is suffering from and the solutions for their resolution have been made.

and hotels industry and have several hotel chains around the world. This report contains
responsibilities, performance objectives of corporate Travel manger and recommendations have
been made for the improvements.

Being a corporate travel manager of Travelodge, I am responsible for the following
responsibilities-

1.2 Evaluate own effectiveness against defined objectives
Being a Travelodge’s Corporate Travel manager, I have to perform all my duties and
responsibilities in an effective manner towards the accomplishment of goals and objectives of
Travelodge. I have the responsibility of checking the target objectives regularly. Following
should be included in the evaluation of the effectiveness of defined objectives-
Communication Skills: I have good communication skills which are very important for
being a corporate travel manager because l has to deal with so many travel dealers and
issues of travelers. I will develop a proper appraisal system and will communicate it to
my team so that they can understand it well and can be effective.
Salary and bonus level: The good amount of salary and bonus will be offered to the
employee with the high-performance level.
Needs of Training: I have undertaken the special training so that I could perform all my
responsibilities and duties efficiently. I have arranged a training session for my team
members so as to improve their knowledge and performance.
Leadership skills: I possess good leadership skills as I know how to use the capabilities
of my group and enhancing the cross-cultural teams (Aggarwal and Thakur, 2013).
Checklists and grading- Grade is given to each employee from A to F letter, in different
categories. Certain questions list is made and then asked to answer in Yes or No. This
helps in performance evaluation of each employee and guide areas where the training is
required.
Management by objectives- Supervisors and employees have to agree on the certain
objectives before evaluation.
Knowledge- Having detailed knowledge of tour and travels is very important and the

employees which includes working conditions, salary benefits absence, policies of companies
and lacking motivation in employees. The effective motivational techniques help in boosting the
morale of employees, enhancing their overall performances which contribute to achieving the
